I thought he was taking the piss out of other posters who put up outrageously stupid opinions of player performances.

Hence my laughter emoji.

Maybe it wasn't a clever, well-crafted joke after all.

“Centre Siosifa Talakai was damaging on the left edge, causing Canterbury’s defence headaches. He finished the game with 142 metres, four tackle busts, a line break and a try assist. He could not have done it without his backrower, Teig Wilton, who helped create time and space for Talakai. Wilton also scored two tries.”

Hmm could at least score a try next time
Where's that from mate?
Interesting thought that "he could not have done it without his backrower, Teig Wilton".
You could argue that Tieg couldn't have done it without Moylan, too.

Any way you look at it, they're all building a really strong partnership.

Talakai representing a threat on the outside of him probably doesn’t hurt either

Match report written by Fatima Kdouh

That whole edge was on fire, it’s why Wilton needs to keep that spot. Moylan looked great was nearly best on for me.

Hurt Harper.

It's good to see talent actually being used well. That's maybe the biggest thing Fitz is bringing to the club, with existing players and recruits.

that left edge is crisp

it was in the opening rounds last year

can't change for sentiment, only injuries

Yep, they picked right up where they left off when Wade came back in last year.
Seems like Wade's role is clear and he won't be getting involved while they're all healthy.

Tieg might even get elevated to my SC squad if he starts there... tough to think of a higher honour (Monty Porter aside, of course).

You don't think the pressure might hurt his season?

If Teig stays there, Talakai is a SC smokey.

I think Talakai might be priced about right, and he's lost the DP, so I'm going to look for some value elsewhere in the CTW. Might be an upgrade option later on tough, especially if he misses Origin

Sifa looks so weird without a beard, thought he was one of our new players at one point (e.g. Oregan).

Fortunately it doesn't look like his power is stored in his beard cause he hasn't lost any of it nor his skill

Sifa's big challenge last year post Morgan Harper murder was not having any space to work in. If Teig can help him with that watch out and if he still gets swarmed well that just gives Wilton and Ronnie more room/opportunities we just have to get better at doing just that so hopefully it has been worked on - Fitz is no fool, he could see how Sifa was getting defended en masse last year

I think Ramien has the most space for upside out of our outside backs.
