its never enforced in england unless its to clubs that get relegated

no big 6 club will ever get that treatment

You sure? Was under the impression it was still around even for the Prem. Remember we had that thing with City a few years ago even though it didnt really go anywhere. Also there’s a lot of talk that even with new cashed up owners, Man United might be restricted in what they can spend in the Mid year window until they sell enough players to a certain amount of total money because off Financial Fair Play.

Hope so.. we need some good news!

Nah, you’ve had enough good news for a few years, let someone else have good news for a change. 😏

Wasn't FFP what made Everton (who already sucked) have to lose their striker for this season, thus making them suck even more.
I could definitely be wrong about that as I really do not closely follow EPL

Neves is overrated as hell, I hope we stay clear of him. I would prefer Nunes from Wolves over Neves by far.

Kessie, I would gladly take

mudryk to chelsea as well

a 4.3 bil bid has gone in for liverpool from the middle east

James Pearce (who’s apparently a Liverpool journo) reckons Liverpool won’t be sold now. FSG will remain in charge but there will be investment from Qatar. So if he’s right, you’ll get cashed up, but FSG will apparently still be running the club.

FFP doesnt exist anymmore
It does in some form, it just needs to be enforced.
Look at Chelsea’s spending, it’s ridiculous. No way FFP is relevant. They have spent $300m in January alone, not even factoring in what they spent at the start of the season.

Fernandez
Mudryk
Badiashile
Madueke
Gusto
Santos
Fofana
Felix (loan)

chelsea spent more money in january 2023 than the entire premierleague in january 2022

they have also used 10 year contracts to avoid ffp

Looks like the new favourites to but Man United is the Al Thani family from Qatar. Apparently they’re the ruling house of Qatar, or one of them. Net worth of about $335 billion.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his consortium are still in the mix but you’ve got to think his offer would be blown out of the water by the Qataris.

All the smart money is pointing squarely at the QIA bid (Qatar). The Elon Musk rumours coming out yesterday are hilarious, kind want that to happen just to see how bat **** crazy a Musk ownership of United can get, but its not going to happen LOL.

i read something from simon hughes that said liverpool and united were holding back after the crap that is going on with city

hughes was the one who broke liverpool for sale and has had good articles about the glazers recently

my guess, both clubs get minor investment that covers transfers

I did read that Joel and one of his brothers are starting to become reluctant to the sale and would rather some outside investment, who they think would be stupid enough to give them money and leave them in charge who ****ing knows, but the rest of the family is absolutely 100% on board with the sale.

With the Super League corpse starting to twitch maybe some people are putting two and two together.

I still think the sale will happen. The money offered is simply to big for greedy ****s like the Glazers to ignore.

Sheik Jassim has confirmed a bid for United

Worth noting he isnt part of QIA or QSI so be interesting to see what backing he has

The Qatari bid is the unbackable favourite at the moment if there was a betting market for this. Sir Jim wont be able to come close. There’s a bid from America too I think.

Dont rule out a surprise late Saudi bid.
