Aight, so what would you recommend? I am doing it for fitness and weight loss
Definitely still do running but mix the sessions up. If you're going to run 5 times per week do one session of either hills (find a decent hill, not too steep, and do maybe 5 reps not flat out, but faster than normal) or intervals (this can be anything, 5 x 1km reps with a 1.5 min break in between. You can shortern the reps if you like).

The faster runs will benefit both weight loss and fitness. Don't go too hard, too soon otherwise it heightens the risk of injury.

Once you get used to it you can do 2 x faster sessions per week but that's enough.

Peter Bol just failed a drugs test. Not what Athletics in Australia needed, this guy is the poster boy for the sport, hell apparently he was even about to named Young Australian of the Year. Looks like thats up in smoke now.

Peter has already taken to the socials to plead his innocence:

This one would hurt a lot. This guys story is inspirational and his popularity is undeniable. If he’s a drug cheat? Yeah it would hurt sport in this country significantly.

Sorry guys I might of popped the champers too early. Looks like the sample was inconclusive. So they’re not giving up on getting him.

Just had a read, he's cleared to train and compete etc but they are still digging as his B has apparently not shown positive but shown an 'Atypical finding' for a synthetic substance.

A 16-year-old schoolboy from Canberra has become the second-youngest person in the world to break the four-minute mile.

Cameron Myers is just nine days older than Jakob Ingebrigtsen was when the Norwegian superstar broke the famous mark, but the Australian schoolboy was quicker on Thursday night than the man who would go on to become the Olympic champion in Tokyo.
