Warner named man of the series. I know he scored a double century but he was **** other than that.

Yeah that’s a ****ing stitch up right there. Bloke scored 200 on a ****ing road. And then the other 3 times he batted got 0, 3 & 10. 🧐🧐🧐

The New Years test also needs to be moved from Sydney. Every ****ing year it rains during this game. Needs to be moved for next year.

It seems that someone forgot to inform Warner that moustaches are usually sported in the current era as a statement of whimsy

I’m a big Isa Gura (spel) fan.

Shes a breath of fresh air and a good commentator that knows her stuff, she's great on the radio too when she has that gig. Has class and stays on point

The blokes are too busy being matey mates, crapping on about their playing days together and cracking jokes. Don't mind it in small doses if the game is going slow but we don't tune in to listen to that waffle all day. You didn't get that nonsense from Richard Benaud who understood the viewer had eyes and I miss the natural excitement Bill Lawry brought.

LOL they stopped early.

“**** this ****, lets go home”.

I recall a Test match years ago back when Smithy was still captain and there wasn't as many wickets needed by the Aussies to win in the last day as there was today and there was more game time left as well but he had enough of bowling to defensive batsmen and went up and shook the batsman hand and the game was drawn

I always thought that was kinda a **** thing to do especially as an Australian captain of all people. Yea it was unlikely Australia were gunna get the wickets needed but wouldn't you at least keep having a crack? Freak overs do happen sometimes even on a pitch not doing much. It was good experience for some of the part time bowlers but I guess if they are tired there is a risk of injury but still

I think it shorted changed the spectators and was a bit rude to them as well, yea they might not have paid full fare for the final days play but they made the effort to go out there and watch.

Money is changing hands, it's the only explanation or Warner is threatening to open his mouth about the Sandpaper saga

Real player of the series was the pitch

Or put a roof on it, SCG trust prob wouldn't like that so maybe some sort of temp roof that can be retracted or something but would cost a lot but so does losing days of play

I went to Aus vs India Test match @ SCG back in 2019 and I think it was day 3 or something and in the afternoon this storm came though and play was suspended.

After waiting around for a bit the day was getting on anyways and weather wasn't improving so me and mate legged it out of there with thousands of other punters all drenched from the rain walking the streets and alleys all trying to clammer and cram into the closest pubs we could find soaked and thirsty, haha good times

How would you put a roof on the SCG with so many stands of different dimensions?

That would either be impossible or cost an absolute shitload of money.

AFL would generate the most income there and they play rain, hail or shine.

There would be no financial sense at all in putting a roof over it imo.

I reckon bunnings would do you a deal on marquees for bulk buying and having their logo plastered around

Warner's commentating Big Bash right now if anyone wants a taste of what's to come.

There's a bit of Murray Walker about him IMO

I didn’t realise it was called the big bash because you want to bash your head against the wall listening to Warner

The test match at the SCG isn't going to get moved from New Years either cause the weathers bad

You build a big sarcophagus and wheel into place over the stadium - like at Chernobyl
That way the terrible performances of visiting teams doesn't escape into the atmosphere

As in F1 commentator Murray Walker? No way I don't believe you, last person I would think of would be compared to Warner but I have not heard him yet. Could they have not at least waited until the **** retires before exposing the public to his amazing insights on how to wildly flay at the ball outside off?

Im a fan of the addition of Todd Murphy. Very good young spinner.

Also great to see Hanscombe given an opportunity. His Shield form should of been impossible to ignore. He’ll likely be backup for the middle order and for Carey.

Yeah I'm not a fan of his but no way you can leave him out, like you said his form has been fantastic.

Hope you're OK with Harris being left out.

Accountants have always made me feel nervy and Todd looks very much like a chartered accountant. Hopefully the Indian team are intimidated by them too.

Handscomb is a very good player of spin. If green isn’t available I think we’ll see him playing at 6 for the first test. Harris is absolute dog ****. Shouldn’t be anywhere near the Aussie team.

Personally Murphy shouldn’t play this tour, he’s not ready IMO. But it’s good to see him part of the squad.

In regards to our other spin options. Between Agar and Swepson we’re better off playing 3 quicks then get head/smith/lasagne to all bowl.
Agar is absolute pus and Swepson couldn’t turn a steering wheel.

If I was Kuhneemann (can’t spell his name) from Qld, I’d be telling him to change states to possibly Victoria or Adelaide. He hardly gets a game due to Qld playing half there games at the Gabba. Should try move to a state where they will actually play him. Victoria would be a good option for him. Playing his cricket at the G most weeks would be a massive step forward for him.
