Is Harry Souter a first team player at Stoke though? He didn't play against us recently when we beat them 2-0. Just checked and he only started once in the past five games.

Souter currently on loan. Stoke will make a killing on the deal you would think

Same with St Mirren getting big interest for Baccus

That's another thing I love about the world cup, it showcases alot of the Aussie players to clubs worldwide

Graham Arnold has interest from clubs as well obviously

He played only one senior game this season for Stoke before the world cup because he had only just recovered from a near year long ACL injury. Which makes his performances at the world cup even more incredible. Before his injury he was a regular though and now is considered one of the first choice players since he’s fit again.

He’s not on loan. He’s contracted to Stoke. He’s just been injured. He’s last loan stint was with Fleetwood Town in 2019-2020. He’s been a first team regular for Stoke ever since, well except for the injury.

look away united fans

I don’t have to look away LOL, I’m well aware of the delusions the Glazers have.

They wont get that much.

The Dubai Sovereign fund and a consortium headed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe are the two early favourites.

Amazon Prime were spoken about yesterday bit they’ve ruled themselves out apparently.

A deal either way could be done by March.

sir jim - i personally wouldnt want that

13 billion, take anywhere between 5-7 to buy the club doesnt leave much left over with the appetite your fanbase has

there are reports that a saudi/qatari joint venture are purchasing liverpool, hence the reports of 200 million being basically agreed for 2 midfielders over night - no way liverpool agree that with the current owners

It wouldn’t just be Sir Jim. He’d have help.

The Dubai Sovereign Fund is not a route I’d be entirely comfortable going down but in order to compete with the clubs run by other sovereign funds (Man City - Abu Dhabi, Newcastle - Saudi Arabia, even PSG - Qatar). Its something that might just have to happen.

Its a shame Amazon and Apple both pulled out, I’m very curious to see what that kind of ownership would look like

I’m surprised no ones tapped up Norway for their Sovereign fund, its apparently bigger then all of the other ones because they’ve got the monopoly on the north sea oil.

Steve Gerrard’s in the frame of the England job if Southgate doesn’t continue. I don’t think that’s the direction for them to go in. Go get Tuchel or Poch instead.

you'd need 10 sir jims to compete with city and newcastle and he isnt giving an equal stake to 10 people, he is a greedy bastard

Geezer was on point - 45 up to 50

He was. Good call by him. Romano just confirmed it. United simply too slow again (annoyed but not surprised). I think its a great pickup for you lot, he can play anywhere across that forward line and even as a 10. It’ll be interesting to see where he fits in your stacked forward line.

Yeah at that price and with his versatility, it’s a no brainer

Diaz is out until March, Jota until April.

So now, its Gakpo, Nunez and Salah.
