Personally I think they’re better off with Moses/Douehi in the halves. Worked well for Lebanon, would be better than Moses/Brooks.
Reckon Doeuhi may be fullback... unless that $900k joke isn't a joke.

Dolphins offering Brown 1.2 mil a year on a 4 year deal. Surely he says yes to that.

I don’t know that I think it’s a good move for him or that he is a great target for them but sounds like good money

I think I’d like to see him go to NZ, becoming a very good player and very marketable for them. Still needs a decent 7 with him though

That’s a lot of money for Brown. If eels lose Moses & Brown, you would imagine they would go hard out for Hynes, although we still have him locked in for 2024.

You’d think they’d try pretty hard not to lose both

How many players have gone to NZ and improved? It's like the Titans, a graveyard.

It's pretty wild seeing Parra being torn apart (players seem keen to entertain leaving too) like this. They should be buying in to win a ****ing comp at this stage but they're chasing cash. Which is fine but that's all they'll ever get.

This year was their best chance. There window is shut now imo.

If Mahoney & Moses were keen to commit I think they'd be still in it but it's just been something going off there. Most squads as close as them would forego a bit of coin for that ultimate success. They seem to accept getting close was it & happy to start fresh at clubs further off a prem.

They've always been about themselves rather than the team.

The way Gutherson publicised his contract negotiation was shithouse.

It's also been reported they rarely mingle with fans after a game, most of them head straight for the sheds.

I'm not that confident that Brown can step up to being the regular dominant half.

Others probably remember things differently but I thought that Scott Prince didn't quite live up to the big bucks in the last half of his career.

Burgo and a few others that know Queensland footy better than me might set me straight on that one.

Corey Allan released from Dogs
That frees up 550k for them. Depending though on what they’re chipping in to **** him off.
My god he is an ordinary player. Can’t believe I was actually upset we didn’t get him 😂😂

I could see why people see it thy way. He played 16 seasons. He won the comp in season 8 with the Tigers, so I guess you could say that was the “peak”.

He was still winning MoM in SoO games in year 11 though, and imo his first 3 seasons at the Titans he was the most dominant organising 7 in the comp. People forget that up until 2010 the Titans were a very good team. His 13th season.

It was the final 3 years of his career where it went downhill. The GFC completely screwed the Titans over, and Prince had some off field investments come under scrutiny. He lost his mojo, the Titans went to ****, and he ended up as a depth half on minimum wage for Brisbane 18 months later.

Was rumoured not too long ago they were shopping him, offering to cover half

Given it’s roosters they are likely paying the full lot. And somehow still sign more players.
