What are those possession numbers? Passes and runs?

Are the Roosters halves numbers diluted by having Radley do a lot more?

FWIW I don’t think Walker will need to be coddled forever.

I'd assume any touch, so they pass or run or kick.
Radleys average was actually only one more than McInnes.
Unfortunately it didn't give me the passes as I would have found that breakdown a lot more interesting, across all players mentioned.

There is some request though to have a 5/8 who is taking pressure off of Hynes more and based on those number (regardless of if they passes, runs or kicks) there is a loose indication Walker may not do that.

I agree he likely won't need to be coddled forever and should tidy up some of his weaknesses but I suspect they might still be prominent enough for the next couple of years at least, which makes me reluctant to grab him now when we have Hynes firing and a good (near very good) squad around him.

Doesn't Moylan do that already, or are we talking about his lack of kicking game again?

If we're sticking with the idea of Nicho being an organising 7 then Walker can't be of interest surely.
A young Moylan would almost be Nicho's perfect partner. Is there one of those around?

Too late for that now though.

I agree.
Organising ballplaying 7 who can also kick.
Move Nicho to 6 and allow him to use his natural running game whilst taking the game management pressure from him
Organising ballplaying 7 who can kick, but defers most of the running to his 6. Hmm… is fantastic hair also a requirement, because I think I’ve got just the guy.

Hynes is our 7. That's what he wants & it's what coach wanted, pursued & got. He won the Dally M there. I can't see us chasing a 7.

Get a 7, Hynes will be right playing 6, Thurston Dally M 7, kept carving up when he switched to 6

Yep

Hynes is a 6 who needs a 7 - it’s just that Moylan can’t wear the 7 therefore it was given to Hynes

Hynes is best when running and scheming , give him a 7 to do the setting up and watch Hynes do the rest. Moylan is a terrible stylistic fit for Hynes imo, the finals series couldn’t of been a more perfect example of that

Id have taken O'Sullivan over Moylan to partner Hynes
