True.

It doesn't help there's basically no parking now and almost impossible to get undercover seats. Lining up for food and beer for a ridiculous amount of time with a crowd of 13k isn't great either.

All these things put people off.

I went to Parra Stadium this year and the experience was so much better it wasn't funny.

Pre kids I'd be in the PB Stand every game without fail, didn't care how **** the weather was or how far I had to walk to get to the ground.

It all becomes much harder with kids. I'll be at the bigger stadiums whenever we play there. I'll also be at Shark Park whenever I can get tickets undercover, which was never this season.

GA ticket at sharks
no seat. no cover

GA Ticket at Bankwest, SFS, Accor
a Seat. Cover

ours are simply, worse value for money for families

Yeah.

It's not even that though, you just can't get undercover seats at Shark Park for individual games. I'm happy to pay up but you just can't get them.

I can't get to a heap of games which is why I don't buy season tickets.

It's even more frustrating when you see a shitload of vacant seats at supposedly sold out games.

I don't bother anymore.

If they bring back the buy back scheme next year you'll have better luck imo.

I sit in ET Lower and am just under cover, if rain comes in on an angle I'm fugged but there's alot of empty seats. If they have the buy back i bet each week you'll be able to get some.

I had a kid and started a new job in the space of a month earlier this year so I missed a few games, would have been nice to use the buy back.

Yeah hopefully they bring it back, I'd definitely go more often then. Doesn't sound promising given what AV said after your post though.

But wait - Bankwest, SFS, Accor , isn't there a magic common link ?
What's that?

Would love to have a smaller version on Bankwest, say 20k capacity.

If we had that with more parking we'd get better crowds.

Not going to happen though. Will be interesting to see where things stand in 20 years in relation to where teams are playing.

The Membership team is imploding.

I have had a week from hell with issues to family members and now the Membership team wants to add to my anger.

After being told last week that my membership and seat renewal will automatically rollover on Monday October the 31st, I received an email today to say that because Family Memberships in the ET stand have now ceased (wasn't informed of this at all!) they will now not renew automatically. I now have to log into the system and renew it myself to purchase my seats.

Why do they make this so ****ing difficult? Who sits down and makes these decisions?

They are about get a very strongly worded email about this!!!

I think so HB, I'm not sure. I am totally confused. Below is the email I received. They only told me last Friday it was best to let my membership rollover automatically and there was nothing further I needed to do.

Hi Chad,

Thank you for your email and support.

Unfortunately, due to the changes to Family Memberships in the ET Stand, your Memberships won’t now renew automatically.

You will need to follow the steps below and attached guide now in order to renew for 2023.

If you require assistance with this, or there is anything else that we can do, please let us know or give us a call.

Kind regards,

This is now what I have to do rather than have it rolled over.

Look at the upside Chad , you actually get longer to pay , just pay by the same seat cut-off date .

Maybe take it easy on the membership team , just get in contact with your mate Fitzy

The past has showed us the best way to sort out anything memberships is to talk to them directly, it's hard to do this stuff over email.

Just give them a call next week, and I know you're time poor at the moment, but you'll probably get it sorted over the phone and it's one less thing for you to worry about.

The support staff of the club has major issues. Apparently they have just downsized again and given out a bunch of redundancies. Plus it has apparently always been a toxic place to work.
