We over achieved this year, didn't believe we'd go all the way, new team, new spine, new coach, including injuries. But the next two years we'll be genuine contenders 👍🏾 Fitzys first year and we finished second and in the finals, just gotta keep the same pack together, and this year will push us to go further. Break out season for Hynes at 7, might get Dally M for his first season full time in top grade at no.7 which he hasn't played since reserve grade at manly and first year head coach for Fitzy. Alot of good signs moving forward, Fitzy will be our signing of the year.
Agree with the first part - second point about keeping the pack together; not so sure. It could be argued, and backed up by our Player of the year poling, is that our halves are our ace in the hole - backed up by the 9.

Three quarters mediocre (hold there an against moser sides.

Our pack needs the work for mine.

Carn Parra!!! Love a fairytale.
BOOOOO. What a fresh hell that would be. Too many fair weather supporters in that mob.

I could not stomach those 1980’s 12 year olds, who started following league and simply siding with the most powerful side, coming back out of the woodwork as they did in 99.

Picture if you will hordes of middle aged blokes surging back from Homebush their 1980’s Hardies Parra tops dusted off & bursting at the seems; Lilly white powdery beer guts spilling out for the world to see…glorious.

Ughhh.

It's pretty much exactly the same where I am... Except with Penrith. I think that's why I can't stand them

No different to us in 2016. We probably had 70k Sharks'fans there yet we have what, 12k members?

So I’m watching an episode of Air Crash Investigation last night and they made this point that when people are under stress they revert to old habits. To the things they’ve known the longest rather than the most recent.

Defensively I think we reverted under stress to playing like we did in the previous 3-4 seasons, rather than what we’ve been taught this season. I think it especially applied to players who only started playing FG nrl in the last 3-4 seasons.

Maybe next season the new habits will be cemented in.

Great point. That’s why we need to keep practicing and make sure the new habits become muscle memory. It is also why it is hard to unlearn things (in sports and life).

They should show new pilots our two finals matches to prove their point.
