I think anyone saying he should be our one or six is massively undervaluing the fact he wants to be 'the man' and playing 7.
He wants to play 7, he wants the responsibility, he wants to touch the ball most plays, he wants to take kicks, he wants to direct the team.
And he's going to go close to a Dally M in his first year as a 7 doing all that.

Nicho has kicked less than Chad, Burton, DCE and Moses. Not like he's the only half who is a sides dominant kicker.
Sorted by average Cleary jumps to #1 and Reynolds and Hunt join the top of the list too, Hynes falls to 8th.

Yes Matt sits 29th by average kicks of players who have played 12 or more games but guess what he's still ahead of DBrown, Flanno, Luai, Dearden and more.

The kicking disparity between our 7 and 6 is not some diabolical outrageous thing we are doing wrong compared to everyone else.
Mate,
Everyone in that list except Flanno are worth more to their team and do much more for their team then Moylan and we would jump all over those players to replace Moylan if we had the chance because of their skill set and everything else they offer to their team. It’s not just a kicking thing

And all those players can kick and kick well atleast better then Moylan

Moylan is a senior player in the spine position playing next to a guy in his first year as a half, we need him to step up and take the load off Hynes - Moylan was trash on the weekend and it’s big games we need him up for, no point being a flat track bully

Munster is the man at Melbourne and isn't playing 7.

He can want it all he wants, if it's not best for the team then it needs to change*

*I'm not saying that's the case btw.

Munster also kicks people
He can also tend to only be the man when he wants to be, which is a lot easier from 6 or 1.
The team he is the man of is out of he finals.

Hunt is the man for Dragons and still would be if he played 9.
But if he said I don't want to play 9 I want to play 7 you don't move him.

Not sure what the bold bit has to do with anything.

He's been phenomenal this year.

Again, not sure what his team being out of the finals has to do with anything.

The reason I wrote that is just because Munster does something doesn't mean Nicho has to.
Yes Munster has been great this year, he's a fantastic player.

His team being out of the finals means just because he is a great player and the man for them but doesn't play 7 doesn't guarantee them results.
We should do what is best for our team and our results.

I guess it was my version of the following...

You complicate things. My comment about Munster playing 6 was pretty simple to follow.

the 1 or 6 is their opinion yeh? because he has said multiple times he came to us as he wanted to play 7 (like he did at Manly) and fitz wanted him as the 7
Hey. He's just a bloke in a bar

Hughes is a freak in his own right. Probably the best 7 in the comp right now.
Would probably agree, as Hughes lets Munster be Munster.

It looks like Munster would have SOS next to him at the Dolphins? Probably a good combo for both of them.

Who do we want to touch the ball more... Hynes, Moylan or Trindall?

I know which one I'm picking.

On Channel 9, Hynes laughed it off, didn’t say why, just said a few wearing it and a bit sorer than usual, but he’ll be right Saturday.
