Hard to think Mcinnes has only been playing with us this year - he has slotted in very well.
Yeah. Tough as nails. Hard working. Gets grief from some fans for not being likeable enough... just what we needed after Gal retired

I think Cam is a player that initially may have benefited an inferior Merge team more overall than ours and that we might have been expecting more ball playing from him. Unlike the Merge we arn't lacking for leaders or tough players in our squad

BUT after working his way through the opening rounds I think he has now found his grove in our team, particularly the last month or so.
Run hard and straight and get a quick play the ball, he is great at this, plus make tackles and throw the odd pass

I have come to really like what he is giving us even if he isn't necessarily featuring on the highlights reel

Yep, reckon you've nailed it.
Hunt is amazing, but definitely gets the lions share of Dally M points in that tyre-fire of a team.

I agree. He's been really good with tip-ons, but no better than BHU/Toby necessarily, and not on the same level as Dale when taking the ball to the line and using a short runner.

Would probably have been more effective last year before the 6 again rules were changed.

Start with the big boys, get a roll on through the middle and then bring him on is the sweet spot.

Fitz -
“I know Dale [Finucane] is revered in the way he prepares and his intensity, but Cam is the same. He is absolutely relentless. You know what you’re getting every day, every meeting, every session and every game.”

Cam-
"Some guys can turn it on and off come game time. But I like to train with that intensity so when you come to a game it’s normal."

How good are the likes of Cam and Dale for our team (not to mention Fitz)?

No wonder young guys like Dykes are resigning - even though they would be aware they maybe a year or so from cracking regular first grade.

I think having Dale and Cam at the club is the reason the team is doing so well. They are both 1% players at training and on the field.

How the hell could the Dragons let him go? Oh well.

One of our biggest issues last year was attitude. These two were the perfect two guys along with Fitzgibbon to fix that glaring issue
Leadership for mine. Though, they both have that in volumes. The best type of leadership too, leading by example. Brings a “shape up or ship off” mentality.

I was pretty dirty about the whole Morris saga, but the board made that tough decision that you’d want to expect from your coach, dropping a player out of form - it’s paying dividends now with the sky the limit.

Cody Walker being a dick to Cam was so uncalled for, and really shows how much of a sore-loser Walker is. Actually felt bad for Cam in that instance.

Walker didn't like a late tackle or something Cam did to him during the game. After the game Cam went to shake his hand and Walker brushed him
