So? Accident that causes injury can be suspended, ask Dale.
Accidental hip drop can too, ask Nikora.
I still maintain Nikora should have challenged it. Just to get it on record

If it’s a 5-6 week recovery, come finals times and Miller is doing well.

Do we bring Kennedy back in?
Don’t think so, if Miller is killing it I wouldn’t be bringing Kennedy back 5-6 is week 1-2 of finals. Something tells me he may take longer than that 2.
May need more time to return with his running style and the way he moves.
Seems to be a big confidence player 2 not sure that returns first game back in a big finals game.

I agree.

If Miller is firing we should keep him there. If Kennedy comes back has to find his feet for a couple of games, that could mean the end of the year.

Absolute disaster, Will’s a big part of our attacking structure. Good luck Lachie Miller or Metcalf.
yeah but I think Miller might off a bit off a difference in other areas, kick returns, turning half breaks into actual breaks with his speed.

He might not have the same ball playing skills as Kennedy but he's probably been training enough with us to be as ready as he'll ever be.

If we were going to lose a spine player for 5 weeks Kennedy is my first option to pick from over the others.

Maybe Hynes could use some time at FB to realign himself I dunno (not that I think he has been as terrible @ 7 lately as some are of the opinion)

Trindall was very good for us last start IIRC

It's a good thing Miller wasn't over in Birmingham at the Comm games - would be exhausted from all that sex in the players village and his team didn't even get a medal

I take it Metcalf's days of wearing our jersey are more or less over for the time being

Any of these options would likely be superior to putting Tracey at FB

Lualua & Dykes are just too young and raw to be thrown the responsbility this late in a season leading into finals (not sure on eligibility either though I saw Dykes on our NRL reserves list few games back)

I would even be open to Ronnie having a crack if Katoa wasn't injured though Ikavalu could be brought onto his Wing.
Ronnie has played a bit at FB before, is in good form playing like a beast and is strong in the air.

Passing/play making might be suss but that will be the case with all our potential substitutes bar Nicho.

Ronnie could do a Matt Wright kinda job for us but better

At least the finals arn't next week we have bit of time to figure out what might work best but we don't wanna drop games either as top 4 isn't secure yet and we really wanna try finish in 2nd place and get a home final.

Doubt it given we are already using Tracey in backline.

In theory you have Trindall 7 Hynes 1 as an option Fitz has tried before, but he went away from it the next week.

Also Dykes who I think was Sharks 18th man on weekend but still I'd go Miller I think.

Less than 5 hours
But how long does it take to phone Tedesco?
Tracey's latest form cleaning up the ball hasn't put him in great stead, either.
You'd think Miller. Or as you've said, Hynes and Trindall.

Just thinking about it,we'd probably be like the Roosters with Manu at the back if Hynes went to fullback....

...that Trindall kid is great. He's ready for the 7 jersey...

I actually would rather a Dykes or a Iro over moving Hynes. Even Tracey tbh.

Hynes is our long term halfback, let him keep playing there. If we slide down the 8 a little so be it but keeps our halves combo together and everything ticking along ready for Will to slot back in.

I think I like Hynes at halfback more than most seem to. I don't want to move Hynes... why change half our spine when we can just change a quarter.
