His kicking game is no where near as bad as is made out

Love the responsibility he took on last night
He also probably hasn’t kicked too much with his injuries, been the last of his priorities to practice

It's not great, but it's actually improved from where it was the last few years. I guess that's just confidence in the hamstrings.

I would think that would be the case, but he didn't shirk being thrown the ball and expected to put in some kicks against the Storm - I liked that from Matty

The kick he put in for the Ronaldo try was classy, got a good bounce on it and threaded the needle

Have been very critical of Moylan, and was disappointed when we re-signed him for 2022.
Happy to have been proven wrong.
Has been a standout, particularly in last few weeks and fully deserves his extension

Every time l see this thread bumped, I expect to read that he has pulled or torn something …

I think we are passed that point with him now and I don't get nervous seeing his thread bumped. It's usually just some contract talk or someone giving him a wrap.

If he gets injured it might just be the typical random unlucky stuff that happens on a footy field like any other player, not so much he got injured because he has a chronic fitness issue

Yep I agree, I'm not nervous about him getting injured at all now.

Moylan enjoying Sharks' French lessons The Singleton Argus

Cronulla have played with flair all year and as they gear up for the pointy end of the NRL season their attack has added a French flavour.
Aiming to keep up in the battle for a top-four spot, head coach Craig Fitzgibbon has enlisted the help of a holidaying Frenchman by the name of Frederic Michalak.

Michalak is not your average backpacker, however, having played 77 Tests across a 14-year international rugby union career.

Michalak had the distinction of being able to play halfback or five-eighth in union and has been brought in over the last month help the Sharks' kicking game with No.6 Matt Moylan and halves partner Nicho Hynes, two of the main beneficiaries.

Bring back Tony Gigot.

Hynes did seem to be kicking a bit better in the Penrith game, didn't notice Moylan.

Don’t know if it is better but I realized Moylan is kicking more and more lately.

I think it was Moylans kick out to Jesse/Traceys wing that got us our first try

It also stretched out Mozzas leg enough for him to run to the line for our second try

Hynes mid field kicks are known as the baguette bomb

You’re right … Hynes has been kicking it sweeter the last couple weeks.

Thought he took lessons from Burton
