Sifa takes left edge, Graham to bench, he's too slow in attack. That way you bring Sifa into the game more with hit ups, also draws in more defenders giving space for outside backs. Put Tracey at left centre and Ikuvalu on the right wing or vice versa. People keep saying Tracey is average or even garbage, you have him playing in one position every week and he'll only get better, stood up last night again. Tracey, Ronaldo, Ramien, Ikuvalu and Kennedy, decent back 5 that can make tough metres and give us momentum coming out of our own halfDoesn’t offer much in attack but we didn’t really use our edge too much except as line runners before he came back either
Better for Talakai to get early ball than wait to play off Graham too although perhaps worth mixing it up a bit more of in game Sifa clearly targeted
****en refYep. The ref blaming every week is ****ing absurd in here. Embarrassing.
That left edge combination hasn't been firing since wade returned, Wilton was doing a good job, plus his speed is good for decoy running which keeps defense second guessing, this allowed Sifa to get more space to runNow is not the time to be breaking combinations that have been working.
Yup. Just watch the few minutes after the final whistle of the Cowboys-Tigers game.****en ref
I haven’t watched the game but seems like the right thing to say
It isn't that what I am talking about. It is the post about Sifa going to left edge that I am talking about. That left edge combination hasn't been firing since wade returned, Wilton was doing a good job, plus his speed is good for decoy running which keeps defense second guessing, this allowed Sifa to get more space to run
What a nine carat debacle that was. I'm a fan of the bunker but Ashley Klein clearly had Cowboys to win in the last leg of his multi.Yup. Just watch the few minutes after the final whistle of the Cowboys-Tigers game.
Exactly! We have way more blue sky than they do. Next time we meet we'll be better, but I think Penrith are at their peak. I think their clunkiness in attack was a lot about our effort in defence knocking them off their game. They were at home, they had all the posession, and with a few minutes left they were in front by 4. I took a lot of heart form that game.I think we can play more better than we did than they can play better than they did though
But as I’ve said I think our offence is high risk high reward so we are a lot more variable than they are

They were very slow to get going which isn't surprising given their 7 SOO players hadn't played with them for 3 weeks. I see quite a bit of upside to come with them.Exactly! Yeah, Fitz mentioned in the presser that our attack wasn't deep enough, so I'm guessing he wants to rectify the teams cramping us problem by being further away from them. They were very slow to get going which isn't surprising given their 7 SOO players hadn't played with them for 3 weeks. Our defence was very pleasing, we did well defending our line for long stretches. We still don't have the answers in attack when teams rush us which is what happens in the finals.
Agree. If teams are rushing up on the outside then surely there is some space just behind the line worth exploring as well.Yeah, Fitz mentioned in the presser that our attack wasn't deep enough, so I'm guessing he wants to rectify the teams cramping us problem by being further away from them.
You see Chad do that really well. He almost jagged a try out of nothing on the weekend with a deft kick in behind the winger for Feldt.Agree. If teams are rushing up on the outside then surely there is some space just behind the line worth exploring as well.
I counted 2 shoulder chargers from Cockau in that game - both unpunished
Guess it's not on trend in season 2022, the kids are all about the crushers and hip drops these days
We gave the Panthers a game, that's for sure, they had to work for it
The Panthers team seemed a bit flat, even the crowd/atmopshere seemed that way even before we got out to a lead. Didn't seem to be alot of noise or energy (not through the telecast anyway). Figured alot stayed home with the weather but there was still 17k+ there unless they counted the peeps who didn't turn up
Must get boring winning every ****ing week lol - you would prob not be satisfied with just winning by 10 points anymore but I think they would take it after being behind in the first half
ref gave both teams some rub and leniency at times, particularly in the ruck
You never get bored from winning.I live around the area mate and I can assure you they are not bored from winning. The area is buzzing about the Panthers, jerseys and decorated stores everywhere you look. Couple that with the fact that the Wanderers are total dogshit so they’re plastic fans have ditched their Wanderers jerseys (some with the store tags still on them) and put the Panthers ones back on again and there’s a real excitement about this team around the area. I dont blame them one bit either, golden eras like this dont come around in everyones lifetime and if it was Cronulla dominating the competition for two to three years straight, I’d expect the same sort of enthusiasm around the Shire.
Hopefully it happens in our lifetime. You never get bored from winning.
I am excited for our time to come.
