Respect for that tackle count, would be excused for missing more than 1 after making 59 of em in the wet

Dunno if it was coaches instructions or what to keep it simple but he was our Andrew McCullough tonight - tackled and passed all night but offered next to nothing with the ball or in attack, really didn't pose a threat or give the defense much to think about other than which player he gunna cart it over to this ruck - the forward 1 wide , or the half 2 wide

If Brailz gotta conserve his energy to make tackles and get into dummy half then we need to go back to having a relief hooker on the bench cause we needed more tonight that just a tackle bot

Does my head in this player, does he want to stay in his shell or not ? We need better come finals from him and the coaches shouldn't be trying to turn him into a Cam Smith style 9 which he isn't. The team needed a bit more help from their hooker in attack tonight beyond just receiving the ball from him

Might seem harsh but honestly compare him to what API gave the Panthers or even the game before what Starling gave the Raiders and tell me you don't want a piece of that

Api yeah, Starling no. Api is a seasoned vet though who is at the top of his craft. Penrith completely eliminated him tonight by making him work his ass off. If it was to become a regular occurance I'd be tempted to go for a bench hooker if we had one available, but I'm not sure we really do.

We have McInnes you could chuck in there for 20 mins if you had to.

It was clearly a tactic by Penrith to run at him all game. it was tough going in the wet and we made too many errors which made him have to defend more.

Got to start offering more in attack. Api changed the game for the panthers.

I actually really like this idea now, not sure how to manage it though. The best time would probably be the beginning of the game, as McInnes could absorb the early damage. But if we're winning the ruck at the beginning, I also want Blayke out there to take advantage.

Also not sure how this impacts Cam's effectiveness though.

And Brailey's played double that of Harry Grant. A hooker has to run.
And Cam Smith played nearly 400 more than Harry grant. A hooker doesn't have to run.
Different players play positions differently.

I maintain Blayke is at high risk of being dominated in tackles leading to slow PTBs and moving it when he gets out instead of trying to go himself seems like a smarter move. Grant and Api both weight 10% more than Blayke
