Hopefully some of the panther boys are still reeling form the loss in origin 3.
That being said, they are still a great team on paper, however, they aren't invincible.
We have enough in the defense department, just need to bully Cleary and he goes missing.
Our attack has been better as well, Moylan will have a point to prove against his old club.

No injuries and a Stoic performance will be ok. Actually think our bench is better, so if they get the one or two go down and not us, we cld be a chance.

this is actually a pretty good chance to see where we are at

i would take a 26-10 loss if we put in a huge effort, but penrith are a class above

we cannot go there and get flogged though, that will just undo the last month of hard work
Yeh would have to lose due to our poor discipline. Lose to a better team on the day I can live with.

I want to see us play with intensity and not make stupid mistakes. Less concerned about the result.

Yeah F/A is critical for a top 4 finish.

Brissy and Parra should be high scoring but hopefully tight. We should be piling on the F/A +'s on our way into the finals.
You'd almost guarantee us second place at this point.

Have a look at the Cows draw, they won't be dropping many games from here on in and their F/A is much better than ours.

The could drop a few, but I agree we wont catch them on F/A.

They Play Saints, Roosters, Souths (away) and Panthers (home).
We play Panthers, Souths, Manly (away) and Saints (home).
Away trips are usually tougher for them, although I think they will beat the Panthers in the last round as they will probably send their B team north.

For the record Melbourne have a tough run with Souths, Panthers, Broncos, Roosters and Eels still to play.

There are some very favourable match ups of teams below us still to come where they will take points off each other:
  • Brisbane v Eels twice to finish the year
  • Eels v Melbourne
  • Eels v Souths
  • Melbourne v Brisbane
  • Plus the roosters are looking ready to cause havoc and play Brisbane, Souths and Melbourne.
If we can win 5 or 6 out of our last 8 I think we make the top 4. I'm backing us to finish 3rd and head to NQL to play the first finals game. Hopefully we don't get a repeat of the last time we went up there in the finals.

Reckon they could drop:
Roosters
Rabbits
Panthers (though there'll be players rested you'd think)

For us, we should only drop:
Panthers
Rabbits
Manly (pains me to type it...)

Close... but yep, I'd agree it's in the Cows favour.

Edit: as you'd say HB, **** you Proud Shark

You do feel like the Cowboys are more consistently good
It feels that way, but...

Sharks record when both Finucane and McInnes play 30 minutes+ is 8-0.

Sharks are a consistently good team if/when they consistently have their best players in the line-up.

Losses have been...

Raiders (no McInnes)
Storm (Finucane injured)
Raiders (Finucane injured)
Broncos (no Finucane)
Roosters (no Finucane)
