Wonder if he will miss any games. Though you would have thought given the score he would have come off if it was serious.

We need Kennedy to hover around the middle as he made a few half breaks and no one was there to support.

Arm heavily strapped but I'd have thought we'd name Berrell in 22 if there was any question over Blayke's fitness to play

wait that's illegal

As for Blayke, I think there was an ordinary moment or 2 early in the game from him but can't recall exactly what
Brailey had a busy if imperfect game.

But I can get onboard with and respect that cause even if he wasn't at his absolute carving up best he didn't go into his shell and that's something we cannot afford and has hurt us in the past when he has been too passive and reserved just being a service and tackle kinda player so I hope it's bit more of a baseline of what we will see from him.

There might have been the odd moment of indecision, wrong option but he was down on the Warriors line so often keeping the defense guessing which way we were going and presenting runners and shape. We needed that considering our recent halves struggle to attack on the line.

Seems to be having more success with his short ball to a charging forward near the line as well, alot of those used to get spilled by the forward receiving the ball too close to the teeth of the defense and being under massive pressure and / or the pass just not being good enough.

Forwards likely done some work on it as well to be better at expecting and catching those balls under pressure.

Brailz had a couple good runs too. His tackle efficiency took a battering with a stack of ineffectives but there was recent posts discussing why this can be misleading. We know Brailz is small and has to go low on the ball carriers and they can then get an offload away, sometimes they just bust through him if he doesn't have help.

Overall though I thought he kept the Warriors on their toes most of that game. It's his first pass from dummy half that often sets up Mozza to do his thing further out wide.

I thought when we were going sh*t he grabbed the team by the scruff of the neck and basically dragged them in place to score a try. That helped change momentum and get us back on track. It was an important set and while Brailey doesn't always control play like that, he's doing it more and more when needed. Ideally he wouldn't be needed like that, and would give great delivery to his halfback and forwards and take a cheeky dart several times a game, linking with a trailing Nicho or Kennedy.

He's the goods and will continue to improve.

Reckon he should play in Peaky Blinders headgear though.
