Look, we are far and away the better side even without Dale and BHU.

We should win easily.

Everyone needs to have a positive outlook on this game and I’m sure that Fitz will do this.

On the final 17, I’d like to see Miller in for Trindall and Hazleton to start. Bring Royce on when they’re getting tired.

Love to see us play more direct and less trying to go around them. We need to get back to earning this by going up the middle.

I really don't see what the allure is of having Miller in the side instead of Trindall. We are short on forwards ATM at least Trindall is a big body. Miller is a great runner but will offer nothing to help the forwards.

I don’t want Miller there as a forward mate, he’s there as a fast and scheming player who can play 1, 6, 7 or even 9 if he had to. Yes we’re short on forwards but not horrible. Hazleton’s good debut makes him a good fill in for now.

Hazelton dropped out of 19 Wade in to starting side with Wilton onto the bench.

Hope we jump out of the blocks well, not sure how our bench should look but tomorrows don’t look that inspiring.. hope they come on and take it by the stuff of the neck..

The problem is Fifita and Hazelton are not big minute forwards and if we end up with an injury or two Trindall is more versatile at the moment.

Hopefully Wade gets back to his best form and gels with the team quickly .
I was really hoping the Nut was in our 17 .
Pushed out unfortunately

Hope we beat this mob by doing all the 1% that we of late seem to have forgotten about. Win the ruck would be a good start pressure their kickers and stop cheap penalties and 6 again calls. Sharks by 16. Go forward before going wide. Wrap the ball carrier and the ball up..

Usually hate this timeslot but not so bad on a long weekend.

Unfortunately , for the Brissie fans wanting to go to the game , not a Public Holiday on the Monday .
Might of been better playing this QLD game on another day and slotting in an Sydney team game instead .
Might have gotten a decent crowd with Monday off .

Yeah it's a shame mate, probably would have got a crowd of 400,000 for a game against a **** house NZ team vs. a Sydney team, in Brisbane.

We’ve been saying that for a while now.

I just as much assumed like many other fans that Wade being back at his best was a long ago pipe dream and something that passed being realistic at some point. He needs to stay on the park a whole season for starters , he's spent too much time on the sidelines over the years

If from that he regains full fitness, confidence and even execution/skill will he be as effective as he used to be? Our team and the game in general has changed.

He can still bring something to this team and has actually gone OK lately but I have my doubts how closely it will resemble what we remember of peak Wade. If he proves us wrong its a nice bonus but like Fifita it's hard to be the week in week out game changer of old so he might need to get comfortable playing a different sorta role.
