How is Jared Waerea-Hargreaves even playing this game .
Sure it was only a clip to the head last week
BUT , he does that every week ( cheap shot merchant ) .
Never any carry over ?
PS : we'll see how many Sharks he connects with with his RAISED bumpers carrying the ball too

Rant over :)

No, never any carry over, it got abolished

This is his first charge of the season, and was contrary conduct for abusing ref not a high tackle charge.

Interestingly the Panthers only discipline issue this season is one fine to Cleary for something he arguably shouldn't have even been fined for (Lawrie didn't get fined when he did it to Ikuvalu).
Cowboys who haven't had much injury either have had a stack of fines but no suspensions.
Helps when you keep your best team on the park.

Storm have had plenty of injury issues but other than offseason suspensions carrying into season they have only had fines too.

I wasn't too worried about the JWH tackle, but he should have been suspended for the ref abuse.

I wonder what the revised capacity is for a 'sold out game'.

The construction work has removed the top tier of PB stand and a small section North of the PB stand.

There is also the new Chairman's lounge scaffolding North of the ET stand.

Take off say 3000 (being very generous). Should still get what 17000 at max?

We used to get 20k at peak didn't we (I remember we got 22 once but going back a while)

It is though, you can't do anything about people that don't turn up.
Yeah mate, sorry, not having a go at the club, it's those that don't turn up I'm not happy with. I know there are circumstances where people have something else on but I don't think a lot of them try hard enough to have someone go in their place.

But you're right, nothing anyone can do about it I guess.

I get we'd prefer it for the atmosphere. But at least they have paid right? Club gets the cash regardless.
A buy back system would be good though.

If you could indicate you weren't using ticket and someone else could buy it real cheap it makes the club a little extra and fills the seat... and if they spend on food/drinks (like a delicious Pepsi Bort beer) even better

Crowd figures this year:

R2 - 11,459
R4 - 8,927
R5 - 11,500
R7 - 9,611
R9 - 9,915

The below link says approx. 12k

It might be due to health and safety requirements as there is one less emergency exit at the moment.

I'm sure they could fit more than 12k at the ground.

I just can't see us getting decent crowds even when the ground is back to full capacity, parking is shithouse now.

It’s tricky with family pass memberships, if you keep to the spirit of it, then the kids tickets can often end up unused for the late night games. Or if you have a large group the calculations can get very complex!

In the end though I think it’s better all round for the game to be officially a sellout and a hot ticket item… anyone who didn’t get tickets might get a membership next year. If there was an easy buyback scheme then maybe I’d use it, but I think unless it’s highly automated it’s a waste of membership team resources.

Keen to see him

Tough for Wadeo, looked decent in middle last week now out again. Won't be able to find a spot/form properly at this rate
