The people that appointed Barrett should be getting the sack, what a terrible decision that was.

It's so obvious the bloke isn't a first grade coach.

I dont know where he goes from here, he’s had two high profile failures. Maybe England? Or one of the Pacific Island International teams?

Depends if he wants to be a head coach. Reportedly done well as an assistant coach, so plenty of scope for him to do that in the NRL.

I remember him being very adamant that he desperately wanted to be a head coach, I mean he could check his ego and step back into an assistant role, but I reckon if a job comes up in England he should try and jump on it, maybe forget about the NRL for a while.

Yeah, just don't want it to get like it got at Parra with the trolls giving it to Arthur. Kyle's got the gig now, but his spot isn't really entrenched. Bit different to the Panthers, they've got the best half in the comp and the Walters have had their detractors too when things weren't so rosy.
Yeah, their outside backs were so thin though they actually didn't have a hell of a lot of choice. I think I'd have gone Cartwright to centre and kept DBrown in halves but that's pretty much their next best option. Not like they made the move to bring Arthur in just for the sake of it.
Flanju has faced enough up and down and seems to have secured spot on merit now.

Yeah, Right!
Accepted to say he'd quit so they didn't fight him on full payout I suspect.
Makes our circumstance not seem as bad.

In saying that how awful our performance was really ruined the rest of my weekend.

Think he is pretty burned here. Should just about take a tier 2 job in England if he can get one and work out of the limelight. Try get a team going well enough he gets consideration for a Super League team in the future. Think he could use a bit of a reset out of the main public eye.

Going to England can be a good way to rebuild his reputation a bit. He’s definitely done in the NRL for the time being, I mean who would seriously give him a HC job now??? Head to England and reset, fine tune your coaching skills and in a few years if things have gone well, get yourself back into the mix for NRL jobs off the back of a successful ESL stint.

Probably not much worse.

Not much else better available with experience apart from Flanno to be fair. I dont know if throwing another rookie like Ciraldo into that hot seat is the answer but who knows.

Flanno probably the experienced head they need, but depends on how much influence Gould wants.

There's guys have have coached and been sacked (Green, Morris), highly ranked Super League coaches (Woolf, McNarama) and highly ranked assistants (Ciraldo, Ryles) that'll get thrown around.

Maybe Gus wants the job.

They have a Friday game and dumped the coach, kind of wild.

The solution to all their problems is Josh Jackson as captain coach, full 80 minutes every game at lock. Sure to make top 4 with that.

If tigers lose this week Madge will be straight back on the chopping block. Those 2 wins are a faded memory after the past 3 weeks.

But did Barrett have to use garden furniture at Belmore?

At least the doggies didn't just recently give him a contract extension
