I think it’s time this experience is over. This was his chance to take and capitalize but he seemed uninterested. On top of that, our attack was so disoriented.

Everything he did was useless.

This hasn’t aged well thus far

he got up early before sun up to post it as well :p

I thought Trindall was solid prior to that last minute intercept (The Ronnie play). He seemed to have it together more than Mozza or Hynes over the course of the game

Didn't overplay his hand, nice chip over the top for repeat set, some good running and decent passes. Kicked long on clearing kicks and penalty touch finders.

Involvement levels not all his fault, he wasn't allowed to play as the 7 or primary organiser with Hynes stepping in to do that on most occasions which for sure was the plan from the coach , we can't expect him to over rule Nicho and risk messing up the play

that loss is not on Trindall, the whole team were out of sync and clumsy. Braydon made a decent go of it

How can people say "he's a work in progress give him some time". This comes at a cost.. dropping mid season games against inferior opposition. So what we lose games to give him experience for what? He has not got the skill to carry us to a premiership, focus on this year and don't split up a halves pairing that is firing

Question asked now is if Nicho is firing because of Kennedy.

Felt before the game that Tracey might have been a good fullback fill in option and am inclined to think it's be worth a shot next week. One thing Tracey will do is bring that pace and straight running to hopefully bring Nicho into the game more

I got slammed weeks ago for stating that je isnt first grade standard and that the club should be lookin at offloading him to Super League club.
Nothing he has done since has convinced me that im wrong in my opinion.
Cant play off the bench and cant play a starting role - makes Chad Townsend look like Johnathan Thurston in comparison

no point getting rid of him unless we can find someone better to fill that depth role . Trindall wasn't the liability today

I don't know what fans expected of him today, he just needed to put together a solid performance, something to build on and he did that. He wasnt even allowed to play the proper 7 role in attack today. Coach & Hynes FUBARed that relegating him to like a extra 5/8 or something

hopefully that last minute intercept doesn't frazzle and stick with him too long, Mozzas wayward pass put him under pressure there

I haven't been a fan of his performances this season but that isn't the game to get stuck into him over, it was probably his most consistent performance outside the All Stars game and alot was outside of his control

At the moment anyone can offer what he is offering.
Big agree. Seriously what does he offer?

His "big" boot where he kicks it down the throat of the fullback for a catch on the full on the 20 in the centre of the field?

His toughness for taking the line on? (note the two runs he took in a row when we were on the Raiders 10m line, sorry bud they didn't fall for your dummy the first time they won't the second).

His short kicking game where it is a 70% chance to hit the opposition's legs?

It's time to cut our losses, that said fully expecting Fitz to keep him at 7 next week

Unfortunately i agree wholeheartedly.
See if Fitz can make the tough call or whether it becomes cut and paste tuesday with team selection ala John Morris

I believe this bloke has game. However, at this stage in their careers, in my opinion, Moylan offers considerably more.

Ideally in 2022 Trindall covers for injuries pre game, or plays at the Jets honing his craft for possibly next year.

Great call by Fitz not to go with Nicho / Moylan - with Trindall covering for injury / suspension.

Feel we'd be better approaching Brodie Croft - now at Salford, who will undoubtedly have an NRL clause in his contract.
Get him back here in the NRL as our backup.
He'd snap our hand off at a chance to get back @ NRL level again

Nah - upgrade Dykes and give him the #1 jersey next week. Even if he plays like dogshit the team will be better off with the normal halves pairing.
