WS - are you referring to a more capable player that should be No.14 ahead of Tracey?

I think that's what Punisher was saying. CT is the perfect 14 because he can provide cover during the game (as opposed to an actual starting replacement etc).
I’m not against Connor in the 14 jersey, I would just prefer that we shuffle up a bit to fit him into 2,3,4 or 5 rather than slotting him in if we lost a 6, 7 or 9 unless we lost multiple spine players, then we may not have a choice.

there was a better guy though, danny maguire

70% of his tries were from support play
There was arguably one better - Terrance Ba Ba Lamb. Freakish how he would always be supporting on the inside for a try without a hand laid on him. I couldn’t stand him once he left Wests, but begrudgingly had to admire his ability to support a break.

I saw Tezza in 2016 at a GF luncheon. I couldn't believe how short was.

What a player. Probably wouldn't get through the junior system in the modern era due to his size.

Yeah he's wider than he is tall these days.

Obviously directed a lot of their attack down their left but Tracey made a stack of tackles.

24-2 is a pretty big defensive load for a centre
Took our second most runs too

If only every player tried as hard as this guy , not the most talented but can't fault his heart .

Mate he could juggle fire sticks as far as I'm concerned!
I’m waiting for the crucial one he drops with the try line begging and wide open. Hoping it doesn’t happen of course.
Would just prefer he holds onto it first up and not have my heart in my throat for a millisecond.

good hard straight runs in attack coming out of red zone and a bit more swerving and footwork further up the field. he broke alot of tackles, only a matter of time before he puts himself into open field, he just can't quite seem to make a clean break into a hole yet but he is poking his nose through and looking to offload to support.

He is getting more dangerous more consistently.

improvement in defense was the most pleasing aspect though

That game was a huge effort from Connor

Can Ramien stop getting suspended so we don’t have to put up with this guy at centre, he’s below average and Katoa gets no service from him

Connor trys hard and runs hard but just doesn't create the opportunities Ramien does or wacks in defense at all. We need Jesse back among some other players

Yeah agree, has an enormous heart but just doesn't do enough. If the long term plan isn't to keep Sifa in the centres we need something else.
