I originally said Metcalfe to FB but I'm happy with this. Good timing for Trinda to get a run with Nicho and Moyza still in the side.

Unless its all smoke and mirrors and we see Hynes play 7, Metcalf play 1 in game day.

Same way as McInnes named at 14 again but will likely start lock with Finucane pushing to prop
While I think our 'best' team has McInnes start at lock and Dale at prop I can see us backing size a bit more to start game against Raiders. They have a fairly sizeable pack. You could almost go Rudolf Hunt Finucane and meet them head on to start the game.

Frawley and Schneider are extremely beige although Schneider has done well as cover for Fogarty.

Danger players for the Raiders are Papalii, Tapine (that fellow always does something good against us) and Rapana.
Schneider higher ceiling and been going okay but I think Frawley is actually the key half of the two. More experienced and apparently in the mold of adding a lot of unseen value in game plan and management areas.

Glad not see Wighton as he always chops us, agree Pap and Rapana also are dangerous but Tapine... he has to be one of the most dangerous props in the game from 5m out. You give him an inch near the tryline and he will take the whole last meter needed - he has leg drive, reach, can worm out of tackles and has a killer offload. Rest of the field he's decent (still a good tackle breaker and offloader) but near line he just seems to have a knack to do damage... like most raiders he's been held a bit quiet this year but if I recall he did score in all stars.

Yep i was the same thought. Wonder why AF left out? Thought he went well last week. Heavy track maybe? If so that shouldn't worry him.

This was always happening.

The only structural change to the team will be Trindall will defend at half and then will slot in as second / third receiver.

Nicho’s role will not change offensively.

Yes mate, you are probably right but he doesn't scare me as a danger player. He isn't someone who is going to make a 70 metre break or beat someone with a step.

Must have missed his game last week because that’s exactly what he did lol.

Yeah I dunno if I'd be super worried about Schneider doing that either at this stage, not from what I have seen anyway.

That was a great try although I suspect he was as surprised as anyone haha
Or maybe not?
I'd hope we won't have two players swallow dummy passes like that though

Did he really? Yes, must have missed that. Also must have been a once in a lifetime event.
You should watch it, if you aren't gunna really lock down an NRL career with 50+ games to hang your hat on you may as well get a fantastic solo highlight like that to take with you

Trindall just needs to play his role, if he starts trying to do too much he'll **** it up.
I don't think he will be desperate to put a highlight reel into 10 minutes. Laid back approach. If he does 3 or 4 special things in 80 minutes that would be awesome.

With Trindall,Hynes and Moylan in the spine it could perhaps even make us more creative with ball in hand.

Keen to see how well this line-up performs

With Hynes at 1, I think we will see him supporting Brailey on his scoots

He was a late inclusion last week, Hunt may have been one of the flu victims?
royce was getting amongst the people at the game according to Sharks socials. I would think they might be cautious about players with flu? would they? or would it be all relaxed these days? not sure.

happy to see that team.
I'm sure the boys are motivated enough to want this one against the raiders.
they will have plans.
