Is Talakai opposite Staggs next week? That will be a big test for both their defence.

The thing I really like about little sexy is his workrate coming out of our end. I know it's the job of centres/wingers these days but he seems to be doing more than his share.
We are calling him that now?

Just make sure you let egg know in advance!

Imagine this bloke doing the bins on your street... You'd pull up a chair each week to watch

Staggs is right-centre, so (correcting my earlier post), yes they will match up.
That will be a good test defensively.

His biggest test will be against the Roosters, Manu is the best centre in the game.

I’ll be interested to see the Dally M awarded points after this game.

if anything less than 3 to Talakai, this award is rigged.

Cooper Cronk believes Talakai deserved all six Dally M points for the game such was his dominance in the first half.

“Stop the fight,” Cronk said at halftime

“It has been a half of football but this guy Talakai has dominated and been the best player on the field.
“Give him 3, 2 and 1 in the Dally M votes.
“11 runs, 200 metres, nine tackle busts and I haven’t even mentioned the two tries and three try assists yet.

I heard they used to free up a truck by hitching a trailer to him… others would run alongside (DCE style) loading him up

Talk on BSB this morning about Sifa playing Origin. Discussed him more as a bench utility rather than a centre which makes sense. In the end, they said he's still probably got others in front of him but if he keeps up this form for the next 6 weeks he may force the selectors hand. Freddie saw first hand on the sideline just how good he is.

Not sure he offers much value as a utility. Really only covers centre in the backline.

Not a true utility, more a forward than can come on at centre for impact or if needed. But they have other forwards who can cover centre if needed
