A victim of having our only real handling error, he wasnt that bad, but he set a much higher standard last season. He’s still getting his eye in this season with the time he missed earlier in the year. Im very confident he’ll get better.

Yep. He will get railroaded despite a reasonable game. Shouldn't have made the error still though.

The error was a play the ball after his head knock wasn't it? I've only seen it live but I thought he looked a bit stunned when he was playing the ball.

So much potential. Only 2nd game back & his role obviously would have changed when Dale was ruled out.

I think we were 100% completion when Jack ****ed up? I mean someone was gonna **** up eventually but thats something I thought he mostly got rid of.

Lose it trying something in their 30.. okay. Lose it in our half in a PTB is rubbish I thought he fixed.

A play the ball error is inexcusable and I'm sure something Fitz would not be happy about.

Not as if the ball got jolted out in a tackle or something.

Is it?

Fast play the balls are one of the key ways to get your team on the front foot and create attacking opportunities.
Obviously you don't want to see a lot of them but if everyone is consistently trying to play the ball as fast as they can you'll see some **** ups.

One like not putting foot on ball etc is a different story but from memory Williams was just trying to get the PTB done fast and fumbled it a bit.

I agree it is unlikely Fitz is happy about it.

Who do you bring in instead? Hard pushed to say Pele or anyone else deserve the spot. Jack was our best forward last year, I have no reason to think he can't be at that level or better.

Best forward for the whole of last season, but drops the ball once and then doesn’t deserve a spot….people def have a short memory!

Nah it's fair enough, any player who makes a mistake should be dropped. I think Dale missed a tackle a few weeks ago, should have been dropped.
