Outside of the pass I didn't think he did much wrong. Definitely looks like the depth player he is. Maybe we can move on and get him back when he is Ikavalus age.
Yeah he did most things ok. It’s more the opportunities he doesn’t take

he had hesitation out there thats for sure.

that non pass 😳🙄; but a few other moments too.
he was cautious. can't blame him.

would hahev been better he had a run against a lower team; that would build his confidence I reckon

I just can't forgive him for not passing, wtf was going through his head?
Mate I feel your pain. That’s taught at 10s stuff a 2 on 1

He couldn’t finish a try last year. I know he’s 5th string but wish he could be more like 7th. Can we turn Miller into a make shift winger or something next time?

Doesn’t change that it was the wrong call but wonder how much having just seen Munster dummy his way through may have influenced him.

Munster he is not though.

Even if I did propose the insane and unreasonable and super relevant to this season idea that in next 5 years he could improve slightly.

Bakuyu did the same thing against Brisbane a few years ago costing us a chance to win that game towards the end of the game by deciding to hold the ball and go himself despite having unmarked man on the inside

Hiroti didn't cost us the game jokes aside, he was ok in some areas and below par in others. his handling at times was actually quite good

he's a step or 2 down from Ikavalu and way off Katoa whos absence tonight showed how much we rely on him.

Hiroti is depth we all know that - it just looks extra bad cause the standards in our team are quite high this season but every player makes mistakes, it was just a really big one. he will probabaly play again for us so let's hope its addressed and learned from

Agree Hiroti didn't cost us the game & definitely agree we sure missed Katoa . We missed him not only in the RH attack but also both his speed in defence to run down attackers & taking the hard runs coming off our line .

You would think Katoa would have converted at least one try from Ramiens line breaks. At least got us on the front foot.

I agree with all being said but geez a big ask to have your first run of the year and first FG game for how long and it's Melbourne in Melbourne . I don't rate the guy but he's not the worst going around , will he be with us after this contract , i can't see it .

Yeah if he’s our fifth choice when everyone is fit. We are OK

tough yes but that's why they are paid pros and train in the FG squad, we expect them to come in a do a good job. I relise for alot of teams it doesn't always go that way with depth or even regular starters but it's what we should be aiming for, having standards across the wider squad akin to Storm & Penrith clubs

if he isn't up to it he shouldn't be depth at all. wasn't a shocker and not saying he should be culled after that one game but I wouldn't want Fitz to give him too many chances either but who else do we play if not Hiroti? bring up one of the young guys if Ika isn't available?

Ok fill in, needs some decent boots, looked like he was ice skating out there

the slip and stumble is a feature of his game, his legs moving faster than his body can keep up but tbf alot of players on both teams were struggling getting traction on the surface

small mercy Freddy wasn't commentating , would have had blown his load over the amount of dew on the surface

Capewell used to move like that and eventually figured his limbs out. Maybe Hiroti won’t but just what it reminded me of.

On Penrith their winger depth is Too Staines May Jennings and then maybe some dude named Perkins… knowing their luck we won’t have to see how he goes
