I still think we need a half

Yeah, our kicking game is still pretty limited, although we’ve generally gotten by this year on our other strengths. Put a solid half with an accurate boot next to Hynes and he goes to another level I feel. Im not knocking Hynes’s kicking game, its getting better I just think he’d do better with someone there to take the pressure off of him with the general kicking. Getting one that can kick goals would be ace too.

Hey crazy Matt. Your descrption above “we need a solid half with an accurate kicking game”.

You just described one Chadley J Townsend lol.

I know SJ isnt everyones cuppa tea, but damn that would have been a hellova halves combo. Moylans been awsome feeding the edges in our backline plays, but he has a very limited running game and no kicking game at all.

Fox reporting Knights have pulled offer to Ponga... not sure what that means seeing he has a player option for next year?

I confess I was hoping we’d have a crack at O’Sullivan last year when he was leaving NZ. I thought he’d be a decent foil to Hynes, or at least just have another different kind of option on the books, he offers something different to Moylan and is a bit more seasoned and reliable then Trindall. Decent controlled kicking game too with the potential to get better and take a lot of pressure off Hynes. He’s got some holes in his game sure, but I think he could of played a good support role to Hynes offering a reliable boot.

Yeah just saw it explained a little clearer... so at the end of the day, Ponga still either opts in with Newcastle next year, or doesn't (nothing really changes).
Probably effects his levarge power and how much he will get now

He's not worth the type of money being talked about anyway
