I’ve reported this comment.
Who are you and what have you done with Wizard???

😉

Good to see Moylan showing some form and durability. 🤞🏻

Developing good combinations and the team is benefiting.
All I want is to see both our halves contribute - it’s not a Moylan thing, just would like higher standards from him and tonight he delivered.. we need those types of performances from him not the other sht

You mean the other sht like nicho has dished up this year

You're going to get mistakes from both our halves because we play high risk attacking football

After 4 games there's probably an argument who has been the better half after 4 games

Moylan does a lot for this team that super coach fans don't see

I know. 👍🏻
I was just stirring.

Good to see Moyza come good this season.
he seems to have got his body right and the team is combining very well.

Hoping to see a lot more of this and to see them keep improving throughout the season and push for a top 4

Was one of those flip of the coin ones, see them allowed one time and disallowed other times.

The bunker didn't feel like saying 'the player wasn't impeded' this time
That’s the stupid bit.
We are at the mercy of the whim of the bunker.
One day it’s ok, another not!

Common sense needs to be allowed to rule on plays like that.
This is what turns people off. It’s the lack of common sense within the rules.

Not to mention the camera angle used by the video ref could have made it seem worse than it was. The gap between Kennedy and Saifiti may have been 2-3 m but the angle made it look much closer.
Saifiti didn’t even show any grievance, didn’t throw his hands up, or gesture that he was inhibited.

Similar to the obstruction rule in the Souths game, but there was at least a touch.
Even still the defender got a full crack at the tackle but wasn’t good enough.
Common sense tells you that it should have been allowed!
But………. Well………you know! Common sense doesn’t apply nowadays!

Get off the pipe. Hynes has been the star player and one of the main reasons we’ve won our last 3 games, to compare him and Moylan this year so far is stupid - after 4 games there is absolutely no argument as to who’s been the better half. What a stupid take

There’s always a clown like you somewhere

Like the great born & bred said, don't argue with stupid people, they'll just bring you down to their level and beat you with experience

Presumably but I don’t really get it, held call indicates tackle is complete so player should be entitled to play ball at that point - and technically is - but other team have not been told release yet, ie stop tackling him, despite the tackle having been acknowledged as complete.

I’d have thought anything defender does in tackle after held call should be at their own risk.

This **** drives me insane. There should be no such thing as "trying to play the ball too quickly" in that situation. He'd basically gone to ground (on knees). He's not going anywhere. He is held and called held. The defender had hands all over him- the onus should be on the defender to get out of the ruck. This "release" garbage is a cop out considering that you can rarely hear the ref call it on any other tackle.

I paid close attention after that decision and I reckon I heard the word 'release' maybe twice per set maximum.

All other times it was just a natural progression of play the ball.

I wasn't convinced on replay that we didn't just lose the ball however their explanation was next level.

Mozza stepped up and took some pressure off Hynes, he actually had more runs and run metres than Hynes which is encouraging and what we want to see from our 5/8

No errors is very pleasing to see in a Moylan game. had a good game and busy in defense not much to complain about

As for the refs it's not about common sense , they are striving for perfection and 'consistency' and this can also be their downfall. they don't want subjective 'common sense' they want clear rules and interpretations and them to be applied as such no matter how ridiculous it may seem on a particular passage of play

.The big frustration comes from them sometimes getting even the clear cut Black and White rules wrong . i.e they made the rules/intepretations but they still **** it up anyway with all the replays ect. they have at hand.

The refs are essentially NRL compliance managers as opposed to old school officials that applied some give and take and common sense as we call it

Not the refs fault really though, it's those above that manage the process

If (Big If) he keeps playing this way and plays 85-90% of games, do we keep him for another year?

From memory aren’t most decent halves off contract end of 2033?

If we do that the succession plan should be Ronald Volkman from the Roosters.

Moylan is playing really well, but I feel we need more from our 6. Even someone like Jock Madden would slot in and do the job but is younger and has a huge boot

Yeah ,
I feel the this Mozza /Hynes combo will only improve futher as the year progresses
My rationale was if these two took us to a grand final , it would seem a bit crazy not to re-sign Mozza

If Moyza makes it through the year without losing games to injury I'd be re-signing him.

That's a pretty big 'if' of course.

Madden's the **** that cost me 40 quid on Thursday - **** him

I'll whip him harder than a Moylan in whipping season!
