Dunno if it’s a it’s just plain luck, original misdiagnosis or whether the club just wants to put a positive spin on bad news but for me, the past few seasons when we’ve had players getting injured, the club puts out the injury updates on their web & whatever they list as likely return date invariably gets pushed out further & then further again.NRL site saying up to 4 weeks now, so that's good.
moylan can kick and can kick well, but our game plan since 2011 has always been one half and one half only that kicks or wade when we spread itThe biggest issue with this guy not playing is Moylan can't kick. I'm sure if it came his way on fifth he would have dished it onto Wade.
I'm sure Moyza can do a decent job kicking in the opposition 20. It's the other 80m I'm worried about.moylan can kick and can kick well, but our game plan since 2011 has always been one half and one half only that kicks or wade when we spread it
both bt and nicho put some kicks in, so hopefully we see some from moyza this year

moylans kicking was fine in 2018I'm sure Moyza can do a decent job kicking in the opposition 20. It's the other 80m I'm worried about.
He was laughing on the bench at the end of the game so hopefully not too serious.
You would imagine at least 3 weeks or so at best.
Yes Wilton could cover but I really liked Dale tonight at 13. When McInnes comes back, perhaps he could take Wade’s spot. But Wade is more than likely to be back before then.
Would chuck Williams in the 12.
cant whip if he doesnt play - smart by wade

2018 was a while ago matemoylans kicking was fine in 2018
in 3 years of chad and sj we kept giving the handbreak the kicking dutiesConfirmed - injury is smokescreen
Classic Craig Flangibtzon
We have 2 ready to go second rowers in Nikora and Wilton - no need to do anything abnormal
Habib would disagree
Has it been though?
Robson/Carney
Chad/Maloney
Chad/Mozza (2018)
Chad/ SJ
They all shared the kicking duties long and short
doubt its changed much, we just havent had him in a spot to kick since then, mainly because you cant kick from the sideline2018 was a while ago mate
I would be very very suprised if we see Moylan kicking long and kicking often this year.doubt its changed much, we just havent had him in a spot to kick since then, mainly because you cant kick from the sideline
So would we say he has a kicking game he can't use?People only ever remember his weird technique when putting up a bomb. Drops the ball from really high up.
So in 2018 his first year with us playing the 6 his numbers basically doubled.
Years following hamstrings and lack of game time they obviously stagnated
So would we say he has a kicking game he can't use?
Having said that, we should seperate clearing kicks from attacking kicks. I've no doubt Mozza could put in very deft red zone kicks for restarts or TA's, or accurate kicks through for a full-speed Katoa or Ronnie to swoop on.
Looking at Moylan and Trindall, I'd say that you've got an attacking kicker and a clearning kicker, and neither is both. Both are solid in defence. I'd argue Moylan is streets ahead in steering the side around. Trindall will be more durable. Mozza's big game experience would likely make a difference in a finals game...
This is where it gets hard for mine. You can have Mozza start, but Trindall can't replace him in the gamplan if (when..) Mozza goes down. And that's what screwed us around the most with SJ's and Mozza's problems last year.
Trindalls short kicking and long kicking game is pretty good just needs more time and experience to get better at itSo would we say he has a kicking game he can't use?

Trindall is definitely closer to being a complete kicker than Moylan.Trindalls short kicking and long kicking game is pretty good just needs more time and experience to get better at it
Then Wade would kick it to Tasmania...The biggest issue with this guy not playing is Moylan can't kick. I'm sure if it came his way on fifth he would have dished it onto Wade.
Cool shot.View attachment 26934
Wade maybe missed it for surgery?
