Buzz has posted this about stadiums. Don’t know the details behind Shark Park but obviously good news if we are getting some sort of funding.

“The State Government has rejected moves for a new boutique stadium at Liverpool for the Canterbury Bulldogs and Wests Tigers.

Instead the money will go towards Brookvale and Penrith. Leichhardt Oval and Shark Park will also get funding to improve facilities.

Plus Stadium Australia will get a retractable roof.”
Wouldn’t be surprised it’s to do with COE.
COE had some improvements for front of house area and also for players, and coaching area.

The plan was a COE and an extended ET stand that wrapped around to the Monty Porter stand. Some more seating but focus was Corporate facilities and the COE.

From the members presentation they did they eluded to this still being the plan, no doubt it's been tweaked from the plans a few years ago.

Hopefully the money is enough to do all of that.

Bad hair, bad sunnies and bad jersey - thought he was being paid more?

deadset thought this was photo shopped I mean it just looks so fake and wrong, especially the head area and those thug life meme sunnies, not helped by the low image resolution

now I am getting the impression from comments it's a real photo, lol

merge council has been sooo supportive of sharks being at Kogarah lol.

If they are sooo supportive of merge, to be at Kogarah why are they doing majority of their training at gong?

"The Storm squad have spent plenty of time on the road together over the past two years due to Covid and Smith said playing cards is constant feature.

The teammates play for cash and Smith ousted Cameron Munster as the worst punter in the team.

“I play a lot of cards, me and Christian Welch actually, I reckon we’re about to get hit up by the ATO because we just take that much cash off the boys,” Smith said.

“Cameron Munster, I reckon he’s give us a $1000 this year just on playing cards, he’s the worst."

LOL that is hilarious...I can totally see Brandon Smashing Munster at poker and then Munster getting Agro about it.

Sure he is a loose cannon and the article paints him as one from the interview. But lets be honest everyone already knew he was loose!

Just covering his arse for when the ATO starts asking questions

Cheese: nah I wasn't selling coke mate I won all this cash off Munster in cards, remember I said it on the podcast?

Munster: and my cash doesn't just disappear up a nose, I mean down a drain, I lost it all to Cheese at chess... I mean cards.

Losing a $1,000 over a year isn't much really, especially on their salaries.
