‘Not that great’, he’s a spine player and one of their most important and they are paying him comparable to Dale, Wade, TPJ, Reynolds, L Thompson, Manu
He’s more important to eels than any of those players are to their team (Reynolds tbd)
I think it’s a fair price, especially given you’d expect him to be durable and available and he’s only 27

Eels can’t skimp with Mahoney. He’s a very good hooker and key to them staying relevant. Need to show him the money.

They were right in not over paying for the forwards they lost but can’t lose him

Sorry was referring to the dogs not being able to afford him. Eels are a basket case atm.

Dolphins are gonna be shithouse next year. The big names are pretty much all locked up now.
