How on earth can you mandate your players to participate in a protest?

That is just ridiculous.

Admittedly I don’t know a lot of the details around the cricket situation but
Imagine your country being so racist you have to force your sports stars to participate in a protest (not sure protest is exactly what I’d call, more like a show of support at this point) and your country is so racist some still refuse

de Kock refused because he didn't like being ordered to participate and I don't blame him.

It isn't a show of support if people are being forced to do it.

I responded saying if he doesn’t have an issue doing it surely mandate to do it isn’t that big a deal but just read his statement and it sounds like the requirement must have been delivered very poorly/forcefully so in that case I guess more reasonable

I think Pakistan will win the tournament hey.
Would have to be considered most likely at the moment. Only downfall could be that sometimes their bowlers don't stick to the field settings. Could cost them in the big game when under pressure.

Just got a fiver on Namibia at 18/1. May as well have given it to the mangy cat outside the shokupan joint down the block.

We are finally going back to Pakistan for the first time in 24 years. I hope this goes ahead safely and hassle free, it can only be a good thing for international cricket, hopefully.

Qantas Tour of Pakistan 2022

March 3-7: First Test, Karachi

March 12-16: Second Test, Rawalpindi

March 21-25: Third Test, Lahore

March 29: First ODI, Lahore

March 31: Second ODI, Lahore

April 2: Third ODI, Lahore

April 5: Only T20, Lahore
