Probably most excited about seeing this guy playing for us out of all the signings for some reason
i wasnt thrilled when we got him, never really paid much attention to him and thought he was a bang average hooker that could tackle well

after watching his games at lock, and knowing he is trying to get to the 100kg mark, i am stoked to have him on board

The way he trains is next level no doubt the intensity will lift with him around

Between him and Finucane and some of our own hard trainers (I know Tracey is one, Williams trains hard in the gym at least) there will be a good standard set by some of the players

Listened to a new podcast with SJ where he said that the 'fader' Warriors teams of years gone had far tougher pre-seasons than the Sharks had while he was there. Seems a common story now. Don't see that being the case from here on in though, so really hoping everyone gets on board and the standard lifts

It’s also been mentioned that we do what needs to be done, instead of flogging the players.

Wonder if the Warriors are not doing that, or if we are just slacking

The common story is every player says their new teams preseason is tougher than their old team. Funny how your most recent preseason often feels like the hardest one you've done - more recent, you're older, talks up new club etc

The twist is in this case his new team is also his ooold team so he is throwing that shade before he has even started preseason.

I'm sure the guys who weren't in the rehab group found it plenty hard Shaun.

Most teams start hard an then ease off to work on ball play, shapes, techniques so they don't start to fatigue the players before the season has even begun. Maybe if the Worriers trained so hard all preseason there is a reason they would fade towards then end of the season...

Well our toughest pre season in ages he was in rehab all of it. So hard to comment on that. Also he didn't join us till January the first year he joined us

So
year 1 he joins in January and misses half of it.
year 2 fair enough he found it easy and by all reports it was. Was Morris first pre season to himself and we fired the Head of Performance following that season
year 3 he was in rehab all of it.
