Hopefully season 2022 gets back to normal. Looking forward to watching the sharks playing back at shark park.
Can Penrith go back to back?

I think Burton is a pretty big loss, and they're losing Capewell and Naden. Maybe not enough to disadvantage them too much.

They'll be up there.

Who will be first coach fired? Brad Arthur, but Ricky Stuart will 'step down' first.

Especially given two of those guys are centres but I guess you shift Crichton to centre and bring Staines back. He's been pretty uninspiring as a winger though (apparently they still like him as a future fullback).
Think Capewell will almost hurt more than Burton if Crichton can play left centre, lose that really good three man rotation with Capewell, Martin and Kikau and free interchanges

Still a pretty handy core intact, for sure. Losing Burton's utility value will hurt, but I feel like there'll be a good crop of young guys ready to come through, too

Look out for Madge if the Tigers start slow again. He survived by the skin of his teeth this season and if results are bad in the first quarter of the season then I wouldn’t be surprised if Sheens just says “**** it, ill do it myself”.

For the record I like Madge as a coach, the comp needs more hard arses like him, its just a pity that a lot of his players are overpaid prima donna arrogant pussies that chuck tantrums at the slight hint of hard work and internal criticism.

Yeah I’ll have a dollar on Madge,

With the spine & forward pack remaining for the most part they'll be in the mix

Def still be in mix but perhaps a step behind where they are now, losing a couple weapons. Some good injury luck for them and bad for some other contenders and could end up in a 3rd gf even

I'm more concerned with about how another 12 teams are gonna pick up their game to trouble the top 3-4. Another comp like this yr & I dunno if I could be bothered.

That’s a fair question.

Be interesting if Storm did push out Munster for a season cameo somewhere before Brisbane ii
Bunnies could also be a slider with no ARey and Bennett
Do Manly take a hit?
Slower adapting teams have had a bit more time to adapt but can the top teams do better again?

Reckon there were definitely games where the slightly weaker team getting a fairer run with things like 6 agains early could have made for a much more even game too so if NRL and officials can get a better grip on 6 agains think season will improve a bit also.
That’s a tall ask though

Crazymatt said the storm would slide next year, take it as gospel.

Sorry if its been discussed previously but can someone clarify something for me. They are saying because of the RLPA agreement that players cant be tested during there vacation period. Was this the case for Barba (whom Im not excusing btw) or is this a new condition that has recently been introduced. If not why was Barba tested 5 days after GF ? Excuse my ignorance with this but I am a bit confused by the whole thing!

Hopefully the 6 again rule is tweaked over the off season (which I believe will be the case).
A few suggestions:
The team with the ball gets a penalty if it’s early in the tackle count and they are still in their own 20-30. After that, play the current 6 again rule.
Introduce a 5 min sin bin for offside from a scrum?
There is no reason to be offside at a scrum as the defending team has ample time to set up.
Repeat 6 again (due to offside or ruck infringements) within own defensive line (say 20m line) to lead to sin bin (this is already in place, but maybe police it better and use it to discourage teams).

It's a new rule Tank, Barba was tested under old rules.

Cheers. Thought that might have been the case So basically the off season they can go nuts. Personally i couldn't care how much they shove up their nose just seems bit odd that this occurs.
