They should make all players run 10km before the game to increase fatigue, apparently fatigue is a big goal.

May as well not bother leaving 40/20 and 20/40 in, they are hard enough already, they don't need extra punishment.

FFS can they not leave the game alone for 5 minutes???

You want to increase fatigue? Stop the captain's challenge, stop stopping the game when players are injured unless serious (refs have resorted back to stopping the game rather than waiting for the trainer to signal). Stop looking at every little incident over and over.

My plan was to use the Telstra tracker and award a penalty if any player registers less than running pace

Implant a small explosive into each player and between whistle to start and finish game if they are still for more than 5 straight seconds it blows.

Every player gets a 19th man available in event of a GPS error

Whether we win or lose the next two games gee it would be nice if we could put two good 80 minute performances together. Is it too much to ask?

NRL is completely blind. If they choose to implement the rule proper of kicking in to touch awards a 7-tackle set, that is utter stupidity. And if they say it is to speed up the game, bring in more fatigue or whatever other nonsense they want to dribble, how about this for an idea. Stop the clock when the ball is not in play. Ball kicked into touch, clock stops, old mate lining up a penalty, conversion, clock stops. As soon as a try is score, clock stops.

This makes the players play the full 80 and that will bring fatigue into it. Look at the NHL, (p)uck (it won't let me say the actual word, it is censored...right...) not in play the clock is stopped and if they don't stop it in time they put that time back on the clock to ensure the full game is in play.

If they really wanted to change any rule, one I think is absolutely stupid is, say, at kick-off the ball is going to land in the field of play but the bloke catching it has his foot in touch or over the deadball line, it is a pin-point kick and if a kicker can kick it with such precision, bloody good on him. The block catching it has taken the ball dead, not the kicker. Utter stupidity.

It's not a pin point or precise kick though
It's a miskick or inaccurate kick because if he was aiming there he's an idiot as catcher can take it out

They’ll remove half time soon as it slows things down too much.

tackles only slow the game down, seems like quickly just touching someone would be faster and keep the ball live more?
