He doesn't need to talk to the coach - just read this forum and he will see where he needs to improve!

I reckon Toby off the bench .
Like to think he'd make less defensive stuff ups against tide opposition and him fresh .
Run hard 15 each side of half time.
Might find his Mojo too.

Jnr bad habits that aint been addressed, cause he's a good ball runner. Remember ol Pomeroy could only pass one way "Cause no one ever corrected him in the Reps cmg thru". Pamfers 5 yrs ago, what did Guss do, got all their reps to take a step back as "Development squads"stripped back training back and corrected the basics. Results 5 yrs later, multi skilled rounded players on both sides of the ball.

Yep. Fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals. It frustrates the hell out of parents, junior rep coaches, and club-land dinosaurs, but it makes for better players.

My favourite is when a parent tells me that there kid will be at a good at a particular position because they are good at “insert skill here”. I tell them “Awesome. Now we know what he is already good at, we can put him in a position where he has to learn to be good at something different”. They look at me like I have no idea what I’m doing.

Hahaah thankless job Jnr Coaching. Have you tried the one on the Early developers that bludge out wide, and run over smaller players in the centres. "Nah mate yr Prop" Watch their faces, Gold!

The mighty Tigers, home to Reece Williams, Keith Galloway and Joel Reddy.

Fun fact - Reece Williams and Joel Reddy were coached by Robert Stone and Rod Reddy.

he was so much better today, especially defensively. nice to see him actually stepping it up after his media pieces about being down on form and not just making them nothing comments / fluff interviews

seems Hannay not giving him suggestions or advice on how to go about it did the trick

he played longer minutes too @ 71 mins. my only concern is does this suggest he hasn't been giving it everything the rest of the season? I mean how could he suddenly find more fitness in 1 week so it can't be that. maybe newcastle just didn't do enough up the middle? hope we see alot more of this Rudolf regardless he used to be a mainstay of the 321 votes but fell away once JMO was sent packing earlier this year and has been struggling but he put it together today and looked closer to his old self performance wise. this was more of the stuff that got us excited about him in the first place

I really think Rudolf is going to be a big beneficiary of having Fitz and Finucane at the club next season. I just feel he needs guidance to fine tune his game and add a bit more professionalism, which he certainly isnt getting from Hannay. I’d stick him and Dale together like glue next season, imagine the professionalism and the good habits he’d pick up from a guy like Dale.

Agree was much better, especially defensively. Hopefully more of that to come.

I agree ,
I was suggesting bench as he was always getting found out in defence , especially after 20 minutes of continuous play .
Killed it with long minutes yesterday

some of his minutes were played on the edge as well, so he got a rest there
59 tackles is a great effort from him, was just about the best forward on ground

59 and only 3 misses and 1 ineffective. I should have looked at the stats before giving my 3-2-1 he would have made it. I was tossing up between him and Kennedy as it was and didn't realise he made anywhere near that many... maybe I should revise...

Amazing what putting his hand up for some help from our brilliant coach did for him!
