Going to start this thread by saying, congrats Brisbane for 2032, don’t **** it up.

As for Tokyo, anyone give a **** about any of the sports? Ill probably be only watching the football and softball (I wish baseball was still there).

I love the Olympics but have little interest this time. Watching the events without crowds will be ****house.

Wasn't Brisbane the only contender though?

Not sure why Anastasia had to go to Japan when it was the only bidder.

Apparently there was a different system this year which has caused issues with some other countries claiming they weren’t given a fair go. Apparently Qatar has put a complaint or something along that nature into the IOC and Germany are considering some kind of legal action.

So looks like Coates told the other countries that were interested to **** off because they were going to give it to Brisbane regardless.

U23’s with three designated over age players. Mitch Duke, Harry Souttar and the captain Thomas Deng are our overage players.

No such restrictions in the women’s competition.

Make no mistake, this was a historic result for Australian football.

LOL and the Americans were talking soooooooo much **** before the games about Ledicky being unbeatable. They’re losing their minds about her losses. I love it when cocky Americans lose, its seriously one of the greatest joys in life.

Super stoked for Owen Wright. After his major head injury at pipeline couple of years ago,
To come back and get bronze medal massive effort.

Re the US Basketball team, how weakened is it.
I’m like any casual observer who knows a bit but not a real lot, I know of the high profile gun players etc, so it’s Lebron, Steff, Anthony Davis & Harden are missing, who else would have been picked but aren’t playing?
