Should this guy lock the scrum now from the start and have Toby at 8 or 10? This is where Fitz is going to play Toby next season from reports I have read.

So let's do it now.

I'd also have Talakai start for Nikora - he needs another kick up the ass.
And I'd bench Woods.

I'd have this pack to start:

Tolman
Brailey
Rudolf
Graham
Talakai
Williams

keep him away from the 13

playing him as a middle from the bench is what works best. Rudolf does nothing for me as a 13 either, he just plays like just another middle forward for the most part

We have Mccines next year who will bring a flavor to the 13 beyond the odd pass out the back

Competing with Kennedy as our most improved player. Something has clicked for him this year and I really hope it continues.

Williams has been more consistent week to week IMO

both massive improvers regardless

no, short and long answer

he started at lock and sucked, moved to the bench and is playing well

some players excel there

also, if we get our forwards we want, toby will be on the bench with him next year

Yeah makes no difference what number either Rudy or Jack have on their back, they're not going to change the way they play.

Real shame Cam injured himself otherwise he'd probably be here now.

Good to hear.

No worries about everything else, perhaps I was just looking for a way to get Nikora and Woods out of the pack and have Jack and Talakai in!

Yeah, I keep forgetting about McInnes. Next year isn't looking too bad at all, especially if the forwards Snowy says are coming are good ones.

There was a tackle early in the set before Proctor scored. Williams held Fifita up over the line and pulled him back, incredible show of strength. Then next tackle stopped Tino in his tracks too. Unfortunate that they scored soon after.

I remember those and I was super impressed too!

On the plus side, he comes to us fresh as a daisy. I’d hate seeing him give 110% every week wondering what sort of shape he’d come to us in

lots of people reckon he is shot now, and this will be a long list of leg injuries he has for the remainder of his career, so probably a good thing to keep jack motivated

its why they didnt offer him a deal longer than 2 years

i wonder if they have to complete medicals ect like in the epl

Do you mean the Dragons didn’t offer him longer than 2 years!

Medicals are definitely part of the process. Maybe not for all players, but definitely for high value players or for anyone with pre-existing injuries. It would be an insurance requirement.

Given how good this guy has been playing and how he has handled playing centre and second row to cover for injuries.

Curious to know if you guys think he could be a potential second row option if we hit our forward targets?
