Yeah I agree it would be better to start it from round 1 because you get the scenario of rested players coming into play in round 24 and 25......

It's one of the reasons I don't do Supercoach - ridiculous that nothing starts until Round 4.

Doesn't seem to be any explanation for it either.

It's a bit of a lelever really. Gives people a chance to fix any big mistakes or replace injuries before the head2head starts.
To be fair, the big game (highest overall points) starts from round 1. That has the big prize money and full nerd glory attached.

The other issue I'd have is that I'd probably forget half the time to update my team.
