I just interviewed a young man from the Roosters SG Ball side for an apprenticeship.

We spoke about footy and he said they had played three games and lost them all - one of them being against the Sharks.

He said they got thumped in that game.

Looks like we have the makings of a good side there.

They don't seem to be doing weekly highlight videos for SG Ball, only a few selected games.

Yep. I think they will be top 4. I think what will happen is that guys like Jensen, Iro, Martin will all start in 21’s, but when the SG Ball season ends 4-5 from this squad will go up, and that will push those better 21’s up to the Jets.

Didn’t Cody Fuz do some work experience with you or something?

Going to their Game Sat V Thunderbolts. They are a merged team, maybe teething problems.

Looking forward to a report!

Yeah - it sucks. We get one TV game now but that’s the only one we get highlights for :(

Nah mate, not me.

The most well known Sharks player I interviewed, not for an apprenticeship but for labour hire was Stewart Mills after he was all washed up.

Not a humble fellow unfortunately and we did not consider him suitable.

Thunderbolts imploded, Roosters refreshed, put up in Motel the night before(True). Chads Man not sighted, played bruise free football, lack of involvement would not hinder active work prospects however.Rorters 19s Front runners but, too much ref pleading and lip.

TV Game for the Sharks this week. Saturday arvo v Roosters. It shows as 2:30pm kickoff for me but that could be Qld time. Will post a link when it is available.

They have named an unchanged team again.

Jinks, Boothroyd, Fiaii and Levi got the nod off the bench last week.

3:30 for us Sydney folks.

HMs is on at 2pm and I think they might televise both.

A bit of a roster update for SG Ball.

Tyler Colley re-signed. He hasn't been named in the team yet but is definitely part of the 25-man squad. I'll add another post with who is known from the squad.

From las year's squad, Burt Tukala, Dantoray Lui and Callum Perryman (Dragons), Kitione Kautoga (Wests) and Romano Cook (Souths) have all moved on.

That leaves Lachlan Maric, Zac Hodges, Jackson Lenzo, Moses Jones, Manaia Waitere, Kristan Dixon and Harley Lester as the players from last year who haven't shown up anywhere yet.

He appeared a lot in pre season photos and also has been on the scoresheet quite a bit so far (and I think in reviews has set up a few tries too). Definitely showing some early potential.
