You'd be wary about signing a player from Storm tbh, not many that leave seem to improve.

I'm split.
Stoked he was **** tonight & don't mind some schadenfreude but I really liked Val & had huge hopes for him. He nuked his career it feels.

i know hayne did the nfl thing but he made the team and came back and played some good footy
but at 22, he made the worst possible choice he could have and now he is feeling it

I kind of thought this season would be a bit of a write off for him, that injury probably didn't help.
Should come back better next year, and think if he didn't dog us to fail at NFL he'd be a more accomplished full back by now.
We also wouldn't have SJ so no regrets.

It took Hayne a while to get back into the swing of things. Everyone was suggesting he should pack it up when he initially returned.
Val's season has been disrupted but has shown some flashes.
Another off season and an injury free Val and I'm sure he will be killing it next season.
Just hope he is unavailable when they play us!

They still are getting paid though at their clubs expense. Xerri could be one of the biggest career flops if he doesn’t sort his **** out. He’s probably cost himself a cool 2 mil by the time his ban has ended.... maybe more if he’s turned into his brother by then
