Was looking really good, such a shame he copped an injury early he could have had a great game against the Warriors

bloke can't catch a break and now he isn't in the 21 named this week. Is his injury worse than thought or was he just there to give Jack Williams a kick up the ass for 1 week?

Talk about being a team/club player - he stayed at the Sharks for this sorta gig. Rough

Was said during game was able to continue but Morris wouldn't use him unless desperate.
Next I read on Monday was due for a scan but considered doubtful, then not named on Tuesday suggests scan result wasn't great.
No news on actual length out though

Thanks bort, yea I saw in the game thread was mentioned out injured. It didn't look too negative on the weekend so hopefully he all good soon enough.

Have a feeling we will be needing to rely on Soro to fill some squad gaps back end of year but I hope we see him again before that. He's playing better than a mere squad cover/utility - Pressure is on Jack Williams to deliver in the interim

I'd be pretty happy to hang on to Hiroti (cheap) for another season. Him and Nene (and Ferris even more so) will be good backups for our team and given very little games being played by non-NRL players this season their extra time training with us over this season improves their value vs other cheap potential backups around who haven't been getting much, if any, of a run and also don't already know our players and system

Yep, him. Thanks. He's a funky looking dude

Wonder if he has cracked the 80 kilo mark yet

Sorro was solid on the weekend against Parra - couldn't really take advantage of his footwork in the slippery low traction conditions but 12 months ago this would have been a nightmare game for him.
Instead he didn't make any handling errors and made a stack of tackles in not much time on the field

Why in the Sorro thread?

You're right. Should have asked who he was in his thread...

It was one of the other photos in the gallery from the link above, so I replied.

Anything else weighing on your mind I can help with mate?

The 'I saw a photo in another thread but it wasn't exactly about that thread so I needed somewhere to ask about it' thread just doesn't get the use it deserves

Probably a good idea to use that thread for all things player identification in future.

In other more relevant news from today’s photos ... Soro still hasn’t been skipping arm day..

That’s the one I was referring to initially!
Definitely looks like he has embraced mostly playing in the middle. Looks like someone photoshopped his head smaller.

Even Talakai like dammmnnn
