That was an interesting game tonight, we had top defence in patches then all of a sudden terrible defence during the next phase. I'd be keen to keep Chad out of the 17, keep SJ & Moylan as our 2 halves. SJ had an inconsistent performance, certain times he did well then had a poor performance/decision next minute, I'd still keep him as the 1/2 back though. A win is a win, we have to take any win possible at this stage anyway. Go Cronulla!

SJ is a good player on his day, good runner & has good kicks on him, probably better at half back anyway. Best to keep him in the team, Chad hasn't been good enough for a while now.

The interesting question I have, as a Cronulla fan I'll take any controversial call towards us though, Cowboys original 4th try off the kick a fair try or was it right & a knock on by their other player anyway?

There is always going to be controversy in every game, it was a tough call for Cowboys I'll admit that but I'm not fussed, I'll be happy with that, a win is a win. 2 try difference so I don't think it would have made a difference. Same thing happened in the previous game anyway aswell.

I was going to give it a try originally aswell & very disappointed thnking we had let them in again soon after we score, happened quite regularly in that game then watching it with a few other Cronulla fans I saw the 2nd replay & gave me a bit of hope seeing that. It worked both ways anyway, I thought we were harshly done by on Ramiens original 2nd try on half time, the defender got there in time & had enough momentum to defend before we were done for obstruction.

Messy game, we got the W main thing. Halves looked clunky at times maybe they are both warming up, Moylan looked ok at 6 and SJ was his shaky self but aslong as that combo improves. Was only first game together as halves. The excuses for SJ can’t last forever happy to see his game get exposed for what it really is, might be a good thing.
