You're a tart though

Kennedy,Katoa,Brailey,Tracey,Trindall all played good.

Uele, Fifita and Toby were all strong - Jackson Ferris played awesome always breaking tackles. 20 ? Was an offload machine.

I’ve had Billy Mags pencilled in all offseason but come round 1 he may miss out. Pretty sure Rudolf has been spending some time at 13, and Tracey looking good for the utility pickup.
14. Tracey
15. Rudolf
16. BHU
17. ???

He could still get the last top but Royce Hunt might have played his way into it.

Otherwise Billy might be fighting Sorensen for it.

I thought Billy, while his defence was fine, lacked a bit of muscle. Once I thought I saw it once there were a few times he looked like he should have been able to finish a tackle, but ended up needing help.

Very impressed with those young bigs today. Future is bright for the pack.

Tracey and Rudolph should def be in round 1 team. I don’t think that many players spots are guaranteed this year.

Forwards, backs and halves are all flush with pretty good up and coming talent

If Connor Tracey can win himself the utility bench spot now, considering we have one, the way he played today I've got that feeling he could get himself a few tries & try assists by doing those supporting runs he did today against a few tired legs.

Connor might end up with a 1 week suspension. Will have to check out the replays and have another look.

After that showing today Royce Hunt will certainly have put himself in the mix for a place on the bench come rd 1.

14. Tracey
15. Uele
16. Rudolf
17. Hunt/Mags.

Yeah was good.. players like Tracey and Blayke in the middle of the ruck will change the dynamic of the team, their energy is good.

On backs - feeling a lot more comfortable if we have to extensively use Kennedy and Katoa. Both look to have made a step up since last season.

And I think it was Vito Tevaga who kicked for Tracey second try.

Also looks like Hiroti vs Talakai for last squad spot /29 (Rudolf and Hunt for other unconfirmed spots). Might end up being Talakai and Hiroti if we release Morris. Pele would be close but I think we might leave him as development player.

Hopefully not
Get him in the team to play his old side round 1.
Will help our two media superstars play up to to their pay cheques with him nipping at their heels every game too

I liked Pele's showing today, what is his age though?

I think both will be there. There was talk Tracey had won that 14 jumper even before the trial. Tonight might of just sealed it. Rudolph is too good not to gamble on.

I don’t think there is any gamble on Toby. He’s a gun

Round 1 bench I would like to see

14. Tracey
15. Frudolph
16. Hamlin-Uele
17. Hunt

18. Billy - for me he looked very slow, no strength and no real urgency.
19. Trindall
