It's a good squad and really that's what matters most.
A bad coach can ruin a good squad, just like a good coach can take an average squad and make it great. Don’t underestimate the Necessity of having a good coach

Highly regarded when he was an assistant in the NRL I think and he’s done a top notch job at St. Helens. These are all second accounts, but out of what’s available, he’s probably the one with the biggest upside I think.
Only issue with Holbrook is that I think he’s still contracted to St Helens, so we’d probably have to give some coin to them. Which might be an issue at the moment, they might just go with an unattached coach like Barrett or promote from within like Morris as it’s probably much cheaper.

We are known to pay on the lower scale, so that's first.
We have minimal facilities and resources compared to other clubs.
That's why i'd consider hanging out for another club.
Sure, it's a relatively strong squad, but that ain't everything.

The NRL's investigation did not find just "a handful" of emails but five pages of exchanges and communication with the Sharks. The Integrity Unit's investigation showed the Sharks not only knew about his contact with the club, but participated in it.
