I’d expect him to play fullback in 20’s next year. They already have four good halves competing for two spots... or really it’s more like Trindall and 3 guys competing for the 6 jersey.

It may be tough fitting them all in. I’d say ...

1. Bennet
6. Broadhurst
7. Trindall
9. Longmuir
-
14. Millard

... with Ernst maybe shifting to the outside backs. All 6 of those players need to be in the 17 somewhere.

Sounds like it'll be a strong squad for next season mate.

They would start favourites I reckon. Most of the core group are still there. It's possible a few U20's play up at Newtown though.

This bloke will be our greatest ever player.

If he is, I look like a genius for calling it so early.

If he's a dud, no one will remember my comment.

Page 1 of his thread. I wouldn’t be so sure about people forgetting

How many people look at the Stapo thread now?

First page Stapo Thread from HB ;)

I was told on the weekend Sharks have a kid who is 17 that has been signed from Southport rugby, originally from the country forget where from.

At 17 he is already the quickest by a country mile in the club.

I am told Nathan Stapelton, stood up Bryson Goodwin a few times at training and made him look like a pedestrian. I was also told when Ricky saw him at training he turned to his staff and said "I hope this kid can tackle because he will be playing first grade this year", he is a fullback/centre.

I have also been told Karl Filiga looks ordinary, slow and not much chop, BUT he has not done anything for months due to his injuries.

Stapo's first game was pretty good though

**** me things were dire when Goodwin was a benchmark

Good to see Sticky was a good judge when it came to recruitment! :gal: :sticky:

Without Sticky we wouldn't have had Tupou and without Tupou we wouldn't have had the Toup Kitchen and if it weren't for the Toup Kitchen the Shire wouldn't have been forced into upgrading it's sewerage systems

The best thing Ricky ever did was to bring Flanno to the club

Looks like HB was spot on with Filiga

To be fair , I was only joking that HB posted that .
Tatus warned HB that page 1 of threads can be re-read more easily when people make claims about players ability .
Stapo was good , but unfortunately never became an absolute world beater .
