I'd agree that picking fights with the media might not be the wisest thing to do, but they're just expressing an opinion at the end of the day. I'm sure there would be others that think Buzz is fine and does a good job. I've never met any of them, but I'm sure they're out there.

I agree with you but it’s pretty funny tbf. They are just saying what everyone else is thinking but should probably be smarter about it. That being said, journos get to write whatever they want so screw them.

All players should bag journos. It has gotten beyond a joke. They don't own the game anymore.
Rothfield is the most influential journo in the game. Best contacts. People say they hate him but they'll still read his stories. His stories get so many hits on the Telegraph website it's ridiculous.
Fifita and Dugan just look like total meat heads here. I would have been ok with them getting into him if they put up some arguments why they don't like him. But it's just, 'he's a ****wit. He's old and bald'. They've also just made a pretty powerful enemy.

Buzz was enemies with fifs long before this haha. Cant remember which one but either the junior ref or FKL incident was when those began hating each other. Buzz mentioned it on 360 last year

Unfortunately when you make an enemy of a jurno, you are on a hiding to nothing.
Most seem to hold grudges and make a mountain from a molehill on any far fetched rumour (true or not) and run it to death.
A minor event will be portrayed as if "it's the end of the world"!

Just so ****ing dumb. Why did they need to say that? Buzz has his enemies, but he also has his fans, it’s not like he’s universally hated. All this does is just create another negative news story for the club coming into the most important part of the year. For what? A cheap laugh. I don’t care how true people think it is, sometimes it’s just best to say nothing. I really can’t think of any kind of defence for Fifs or Duges here. Just ridiculously stupid.
