Sorenson with a great linebreak, Hokko with a short side kick for Ed Lee to score a ripper .. before almost knocking himself out on the signage.

Cruz Topai-Avea picks up a loose ball 18m out before dragging 3 over from about 6m out. Hokko hits the post with the kick.

Thanks mate, hope the young fella gets better soon.

Thanks Thresh.

He’s home and in bed now.

We were on our way down to get an ice cream when he suddenly clutched his leg and said something had bitten him.
When I looked there was a small puncture mark near the ankle and it had started to swell a bit. He was also feeling a bit sick.

We found some paramedics down on the sideline and they had a look at it and got him an ice pack to keep the swelling down.
Gee they were great. All in a day’s work for these guys but for a really minor issue they gave it every care and attention.

They had him sitting in the players enclosure with the ice pack on and keeping him calm.

We think it was one of those big bull ants that got him.

Anyway, all good now and he’s fast asleep.

Sorry I had to bail out early guys.

Decent turn out for a trial

Was nice to sit in the upper ET second half, the view was as glorious as I recall. Unfortunately I could not muster a fart to spoil the privileged air

Energy from our boys was good

Right side defense didn't handle the early bombs leaking a couple try's, From then onwards it was pretty much all the Sharks though

Moylan was shaky with the pom hands racking up a few dropped balls but his running game and defense looked good and some good kicking from the sideline for a conversion and a hit post

Uele & Ava strong carries in first half - it was our big depth forwards that impressed me the most tonight actually

Eddy/Grey soild showings

Some nice ball movements to the right from Chad & Moylan set up some super silky runs to the tryline's from katoa and noodles on a few occasions

Sorreson split them up the middle a couple times in the second half

Flanno Jr will need to mow Shane's lawn a few more times before getting picked in firsts but did O K

Brailey showing more authority in at hooker, going up a gear it appears

Holmes did nothing wrong, also looks to be stepping it up a tad and working more with the defense

Seggy a few nice scoots and runs outta hooker but made an error, his passing is still a bit sus

Hodko went okay without really standing out

Feki still needs mostly open space to a try line and a run to the corner for a try he was never capable of found him in touch but outside of that he made a really strong run in the first half and was his usual self

Was seriously impressed by Sorensen. He looks strong and fit and hungry.

How good was his pace when he busted through

2 rare things occurred tonight that won't happen in the regular season - we kicked a 40/20 and the refs enforced some rugby league rules

Agree, the way he played tonight I wouldn't be adverse to him getting a spot on the bench.

Not sure how it looked at the ground but via the video feed a few of our big boppers looked a bit slow
