not much on the market in turns of depth in the halves. really not sure who we could potentially look at.

club should just keep Maloney :)

We were speaking to him I believe. Also, Lachlan Croker is without a club still I think. Never really followed his progression but they had wraps on him.

I wouldn't think it would be too hard to pick up a back up half. Surely there are halves sitting outside the top 30 that would jump for they contract

Remember when we had Robbo and we were rumoured to be looking at an old half in the Super League who looked like a cross between Pan and a hyena?

true, thanks for the update. As I said, didn't really follow him at all but I was aware of the name. Curious to see how he goes. Wonder if the raiders will regret it.

It does my head in that some people (Chad) think that fullbacks and 5/8's are interchangeable.

Val is so far away from being a ball-playing fullback it's ridiculous - a basic skill you need at 6 or 7...

So was Lockyer in his first year at fullback.

This is what worries me about Moylan. I hate the way Maloney has behaved this year but I still think it is in the best interest of the club to hang on to him with an upgrade. Retaining Maloney is probably easier than signing Pearce. The two are probably on par and Maloney's ungrateful carry on will likely forgotten soon enough due to being in premiership cog.
