Awesome to have him in the club. I'd like to think that Flanno can really harness and bring the best out of him as a player.

Josh Dugan's decision to defect to arch-rivals Cronulla has been made easy by the way St George-Illawarra have dropped the ball with the negotiations.

Dugan is gutted by the lack of respect shown by the Dragons, who have failed to balk on the original offer they put on the table last November.


Despite a superb start to the year before being injured while playing for Australia, Dugan has been left to watch the club sign Ben Hunt from Brisbane while retaining Jack De Belin, Gareth Widdop, Paul Vaughan and Euan Aitken.

Dugan has told his close mates he can't get to Cronulla quick enough.

And for the record, the Sharks offer is worth $700,000 a season - not the $1 million per year reported elsewhere.

I would have thought he would have gone over the ditch with the team as support being a senior player.

When Flanno told Doogs his steak meal was on the house, he didn't think he'd take it literally.
